Thoughts on an extremely limited strike to raze Tabriz and divert a settler to grab the silks? I think if we rush a library there, and change the placement, we should have no problem keeping the new town. I'd really like another lux to help with happiness, especially with a bunch of markets due soon.

There are 3 horses on the doorstep of Karakorum, I would wait a turn or 2 for 2 or so more horses to arrive
There are some horses on the trot (Goto) towards our SW flank
The JT is on his way down to try and get a win to triger the GA.
Research is still at 0, we can step up the research a little (10%=6 turns or 20%=3 turns). We dont need Chivalry to kill the mongols.
But after the mongols we can use it to upgrade them horses to knights an kill the hittites.
My idea would be to keep it at 0% till the mongols are dead. Then up to 10% while the horses get back north.
Then DoW Hittites, take the town (or maybe towns by then) on our main land.
Ship over some knights and take the island (2 galleys are waiting at the moment)

Important? there is/was a warrior on the nearest hill SE of Satsuma. Dont know if it is headed back (yet)

Everyone we know is behind the pace on techs, we can stand to have them make up some ground

IHT – Everything looks pretty good, a MM check gets us an extra 5gpt. Our troops are actually spread kind of thin, but apparently it hasn’t been a problem thus far. We still haven’t gotten a leader, huh? I’ll do my best to remedy that, we can really use the FP somewhere. We also desperately need to get the new luxes on line. Running 30% right now. I’m a bit uneasy with all the fog between us and the Mongols, you never know what’s running around out there.

360 AD – Ship the Hittites CoL for some furs. The twenty turns should be just about perfect for getting ready. This allows me to drop the lux a notch, netting us an extra 30 gpt or so. After watching a bunch of units run around, I cancel all of their orders.

IT – Two of our elite horses get retreated by archers.

370 AD – Skirmishing around the capitol kills three archers, and a sword, we lose no units. Also whack an archer near Choyr.

380 AD – Random skirmishes again, build New Copan to grab a wheat tile.

390 AD – I get showered with love by the people, and put three expansions on the palace. :D We’ve got two dozen horses running around. Although we don’t *need* knights for the Mongols, they will certainly make it easier, so I turn research back on. Chiv in 2, still making 100gpt.

400 AD – Units are healed enough to move on Karakorum. New Palenque is founded to claim the dyes, now we just need them hooked up.

410 AD - :rotfl: The Mongols just finished the Great Library in Karakorum. I don’t even think they’ll get a chance to benefit from it. Chivalry in, set it to Eng, but shut it back off to grow the piggy bank. My assault on Karakorum is almost a miserable failure. We lose one vet horse, retreat three others, before two elites finally finish the job.

420 AD – We learn Monarchy. Lose an elite horse to reg warrior on grass. :rolleyes: Build New Tikal to claim silks. Start a rax that will be rushed next turn. New Yax also founded.

430 AD – New Bonampak founded. Some random skirmishing around Karakorum. Hurry the rax I mentioned.

440 AD – Have three riots, must not have checked CA properly :wallbash: Hittites complete Great Lighthouse. Choyr is razed. A couple more skirmishes. Five horses get upgraded.

450 AD – Germans complete ToA, Chinese complete Hanging Gardens. Silks are hooked up, one more turn for the dyes. Two more horses are upgraded. Quiet turn otherwise.

Roundup: Still no leader, though I must have had 12 or more victories. You’ll need to play with the lux slider nest turn, may be able to shut it off entirely. We need to get Eng soon, all these rivers are really killing movement down south. Our JT is only just now arriving in the area for some action. Now that some knights are online, you should be able to roll over the Mongols in short order.

Again, very sorry for the delay guys. One of my friends died yesterday, so I didn’t have much time for civ. :(

If we want Dom, we need to start pumping settlers out to fill the continent. Personally, I would rather use the GA to build a bunch of knights and start brutalizing everyone in sight. :hammer:
 
Condolances Sesn :( I know how you must feel... :cry: My best friend (20+years) was hit by a drunk drive little over a year ago, died in the hospital....

My prevered win: Conquest, Let us be alone on this land....

I hope I will get to trigger the GA, but I guess I am to far away. Atleast I will get some turns in the GA :)

490AD, get some more sttlers going. Will pay some attention on how many knights we will need in southe the keep some in north and take out hittities.

510AD, get enginering, go for invention, found New Lagartero, take Hovd
520AD, start 2 more galleys near hittiti island,
530AD, decided it was time to take on hittities, but saw we have 3 turn left on deal so postpone. Found New Quiriguá, take Kazan
540AD, take Almarik and Erdenet
550AD, get invention start on gunpowder, take Tsetserleg and Mandalgovi, and fianlly get a GL, I suggest to use it for the FP in the city which should be founded 1 south/east of the loose horse in the desert)there is a settler heading to that.

MadV, left you some Mongols, started building an invasion army to take on hittities. There´s a settler on his way to Piedras, use it to build a city on the island of the hittities, as a base camp, there seems to be room.
There's a sword in the galley near the goody hut...
 
Good set Nero, have not looked at the save (yet) but: You did not trigger the GA??

I agree on using the MGL to rush the FP.Not sure as to the spot, as I have not seen the save.

Make sure the FP is in a High Shield/Commerce place to get max benifit...
 
Did not trigger the GA yet want the FP first to get a larger effect. Adviced to plant FP in center of southern half of continent in the dessert, but it might not have that big a reach then maybe it's better to put it somewhat closer to the south east, which is a rich land, and should be higly productive (for example Ulaanbatar or a new city west of it).
