That means that anyone who automates cannot be allowed to do so near Tikal!

Whay in the world would anyone ever automate? :hmm:

4- CI worker -> GLB

Do we need a wonder and the Great lib at that? We are now likely to be tech leaders anyways....
Go go go on units?!
Does CI have a normal Lib yet? Marketplace? I think we can spend the shields better than on some big dumb wonder...

I agree ... never ever automate workers.... Tho they can be a pain sometimes to move by hand, they can be a biger pain when automated (maybe in the late game on auto polution cleanup)

I've done it in a SG before - got scolded... :( (But it was in one of those cultural domination games where you try to take over the world with culture. (Domination)

Got it, will play tomorrow some time... Between now and 28 hours...

Any directives? Other than
- Get ready for ... / move onward to Japan
- Keep expanding till we are full

Research?
Dotmap? Anyone?

My personal goal: Slaves... I want slaves :)

Dont spread the C's to far... CxxxC at most no CxxxxC (an exception here or there is possible)

Agreed. Generally, I try to only spread them that far in useless areas, like desert, when I'm just trying to claim the land. We won't be able to use more than 12 tiles until after hospitals, which probably won't happen at all in this game. There is no need to give each city more then 12 workable tiles. 13 or 14 if you want to be able to juggle shield/food output, perhaps.

Done! It might do some good also, to micromanage a bit.... (Currency (Edit mispelled 'due' as 'do') due in 1 and superfluous/changeable specialists.)

The cities are a bit close for my comfort. But I'm sure even the extremists of CXXC will be happy. And I could not find a way to have some of the tundra towns not end up on hills instead of tundra without removing a town.

I believe the two luxes would be good for our nation though. So two galleys and four settlers should be whipped up! (Edit :whip: does not exist anymore?! :( )

I am not for the poaching, we will be taking over this continent. Sooner rather than later. If we settle towns there now, we will need to defende and hold them while at war with them AIs.

I would expand our own lands and expand into Japan the pointy stick way, starting both about now....
That way we can take the luxes without trouble and not have to cover them to keep them.

Greetz

P.S. Will probably play later today, within 12 hours from now....

I fully agree with namliam, we've got quite a few swords, keep a couple of cities produce more of them or maybe horses, keep a few to produce settlers to fill in the gaps to the north and the gaps our army will leave.

I'd agree also - cities that far away don't do much for us yet. We will own the luxes soon enough.

Why is Copan not building a settler? There is still a lot of land to be had here, should still be churning out settlers for a while.

I know there was some discussion on it already, but we'll be changing CI from the GL, right? I thought we said no GW's.....

two things:
The dot on the flood plain should be moved SW one and the one close to Japan south one, we are going to get the 3 food base tile once we get out of despotism, and we can irrigate the FP for extra food

Theres a settler in the sword mob near Gumi, i sent it to the point and maybe squeaze another city on the iron.
