Eh? I have attempted to link each clue to one person and one person precisely. The second clue to Icekommander, and the first to choxorn. (I did say it could be a frame of Empiremaker, the operative word here being 'frame', and also that it could link to me, but I'm not exactly campaigning for my own death.)

You've just made a big deal about how it was practically suicide to include a clue about yourself on the first night - and you convienantly pointed out that it was probably a "frame" of you.

I made a big deal about how it was practically suicide to leave an obvious true clue on the first night. Completely different thing. (That's not a vote for 'obvious' by the way. )

If the typical mafia expectation is a untrue clue first and a true clue second, wouldn't you just be wrecking everyone's day by immediately showing how the (possibly true) clue can apply to you (and therefore isn't actually truthful)?

Two answers:

a) IIRC, mafiosi actually do a true clue first, usually. Never actually figured out why that is, but we did some research back in the day. (That was in 2007 so it might not hold true nowadays, though.) The point here is the distinction between 'true' and 'obviously true'.

b) Even if I did do that, I wouldn't be wrecking anyone's day. We all just bandwagon on the first person that pops into our heads, and everyone knows it.

I'm not exactly versed on the typical meanderings of mafia (this is my first game) but it seems pretty much like a game of deception to me. Ignore the clue - I'm going off who seems the most deceptive - and right now it's you :/

Alright, fair enough. But to be honest, I don't see it... I have been the most vocal so far, but 'deceptive'? Really?

Talking a lot can be suspicious, but it's not any indication of innocence or mafia-ness... heck, ask sirtommygunn. Whenever he's mafia, he wins by never talking at all. I'm talking a lot right now simply because I get killed in the opening couple of rounds a lot, and I don't want it to happen this time DANGIT. (Also, it's fun to argue with you. )

Next up were Catharsis and EmpireMaker. Their votes were tied though so the villagers faced a little dilemma. Finally they decided that the two should duel to determine who was guilty. After all, the one who killed the other person surely wouldn't kill his fellow townspeople On the way to the town square though, Empiremaker got hit by a girl. Seeing an opportunity, Catharsis laughed and mocked his fellow condemned man. What Catharsis didn't count on though was that this girl was the best shot in the state and she didn't like having people she beat mocked. Catharsis was challenged to a wrestling death match that he lost. Badly. Catharsis was...

With one of the duel participants unexpectedly yet comically dead, the mayor of Town decided that Empiremaker shouldn't have to die to. During the party celebrating his recent release though, Empiremaker fell off the roof and died. He was...

If we infer the first clue was fake because it caused Empiremaker's death, we can probably infer this clue is true. Which leads me to say, I have no idea who it is, but I did the reasoning for you, so your choice of cannibal-related people.
