I'm not sure this will fix all the issues you've run into, but I think it may help. I hope it does, because I would definitely like to take advantage of all the work you're pouring into your gutted mod.

This mod is a great idea btw, and some good progress here been made here. some really good info I will see if I can add to it with my own findings / tools as I go.

I had more or less given up. But now it seems that the original intent of this thread is possible: a "base mod" that is already stripped out that anyone can use to build a total conversion mod. I'll work on it this coming weekend. However, I will be very happy if someone (lemmy101 ) beets me to it.
