NOTE: currently using CP only, version 09/19, but this has happened with the last couple versions.

Lately I've been having a problem, not a bug, but an AI quirk. Every time I hook up a single Marble tile, 1 or 2 AI will become fixated upon it. They will spam me every turn with offers for it and won't take no for an answer. If I had more then one Mable, I might be willing to trade one away, but with only the one node I usually need the Happiness more.

Is anybody else having this issue or is it just me? I don't recall seeing anyone else complain about this situation. I admit I haven't faithfully read every post in every thread here, so if this is a well-known issue, feel free to slap me upside the head and I'll shut my trap.
 
I've noticed something similar, but the other way around.

AI doesn't mind trading other luxury types, but whenever it has Marble, it almost never wants to trade it. The deal is either IMPOSSIBLE or much, much higher than other luxury types. Whatever your offer is, it'll be refused. Alexander traded me every other luxury (good he did, I NEEDED happiness!), but any offer for his Marble he considered to be a blatant insult.

It's just Marble Alex calm down jeez
 
Had a trade-deal completely break down as well.

An friendly AI asked me for 12gpt as a favor, I accepted. He got eliminated before the deal ended. Later on he got revived and from that on every single turn he asked me for 12 gpt in the form of "this was a good deal, lets keep doing it", after a good 150 turns of saying no to it every turn it got rather annoying.
 
i have this issue too with def. pact. once in my life with this mod i managed get def pact with arabia but in second attempt its value is(surprise) IMPOSSIBLE. they are offering me renew it every turn now while its impossible.

I had this quirk in my 9/12 game as well. Siam asked me to help them by providing them silk and i accepted. When that ended they kept pestering me to trade them silk for nothing every single turn.

That is definitely a general issue, particularly late game it seems to happen a lot. In my 09-18 game yesterday and my 09-12 games before that I had the same thing happen, when I reject to renew a trade deal, the AI will come asking for it every single turn. Not a game-breaker, but still a nuisance.
 
Edit: also the fact that this is not about the classic game Marble Madness is an absolute tragedy.

Seconded. I came back to this thread twice since it started wondering if some sort of crazy savant had created a scenario somehow reminiscent of Marble Madness.

I apologize for that. It just seemed like such a perfect name for the thread and I didn't think many people would be old enough to remember it.

Back on-topic, I got busy over the weekend and hadn't kept up with my own thread :spank: Did somebody create a github report for this already, or should I start one?
