Atolls are decent: 2F, 1H, 1G

Overall feels a little snappier, especially graphically on my substandard system.

Observations thus far:

Cows are fracking everywhere

Fish are base 2 food which means they have been improved to 5(eventually). They also seem to be more abundant

There are atolls! They are 2 food 1 production 1 commerce

I'm pretty sure the early game wonders cost significantly more hammers although i dont often build them so not sure on this one. For example Stonehenge is 220 hammers and GL is 250 hammers.
Monuments are just 40 hammers and granaries are just 70. Libraries are 70 hammers as well (think this is a bit less)
If you build a monument in your capital and then get legalism, you get no culture building in your cap :(
Cultural border expansions are really really fast with tradition

Thats all for now!

It takes time for the update to propogate across the network. If you're really impatient, you could try changing the download location. It will hit the us servers in their network first I should think. Restarting steam is also a good idea - this isn't strictly necessary, but when a patch hits it will often let your client 'see it' quicker.

Personally, I would be patient. Just let it do it's thing and you'll get it pretty quickly as the initial demand dies down. And be thankful this isn't the old days when patches were hosted on mirror sites that tended to fall over or company ftps that did the same - steam has obscene amounts of bandwith.

He said tomorrow, but he said tomorrow yesterday, and yesterday's tomorrow is today.

This timeline has been switched to high gear and we're still all stuck in the present & now. What would i give for a faster connection is beyond fiberwires efficiency no matter who my ISP is, or was, or will be.
Never mind, how time flies when we're in good company.
Puck drop in Atlanta at 7:00PM/EST... Go Habs Go... CiV will have to wait on the busy schedule, as usual.
IIRC, there is a Star Trek episode reference in the above quote.
;)

Well hopefully sid fixed there failure

Good changes, early buildings cheaper and later building more expensive. Anyone tested if the "free culture building"-policy can give something else than monument, I tried but did not get any free temple in my capitol, I might have done something wrong though...
