The Persians began Marco's Embassy in 900AD. We still need Magellan. Isaac requires a Science we are not researching. We have one good Caravan ready to go into Dehli in 3 turns, with no followup. Elysium will finish the University in 9 turns, actually fewer. REGIA CIVITAS needs IPRB=30 $4, unless we're switching to Dip to build Marco next turn.

The Celebration at Lux 20% will trigger 13 WLTK Celebrations. That means 13 new serfs on the following turn, then limited here and there by lack of irrigation. Increase Lux% gradually to sustain the Celebrations, until extra food is gone. Then back to 20% Luxuries for a bit, then 30% and cruise.

Citizens have commented in Turn 940AD that we do not need Marco Polo. I tend to agree, assuming we are starving for Caravans. And we are, we have no followup to the RC Silk into Dehli. We lack a Silver Caravan. We own 14 Caravans, less 3 committed to Delivery, 5 more completed shortly. We do have four Caravans available Wonder Caravans near RC.

I think maybe start Magellans in RC, and when Elysium finishes it's university we should start a wonder to switch to Issac's later and complete with caravans.

I also think we need an embassy with India and Persia at least. I think they are our closest rivals technologically at the moment and an embassy will be invaluable.

Caravans Are Most Important - 940AD

We'll discover Banking this turn, so do not deliver any Caravans at first. The Science beakers would be wasted. AFTER the new Science Pick, THEN Deliver them. Then MD Salt into Elysium Demand, at max trade. Still Approved?

Not sure about Civvium Silver, deliver to RC or Indians? I think the Indians will pay over 5 times as much, and we $Need $That. This Caravan is being polled in Marco Tax 940AD - please comment and vote here.

Nemo Bay: IPRB $2, quickly build another Silver. Too bad we missed it last time - cost us about $500 or so.

We need perhaps more Silk, certainly Silver, Gems and Wine, Dye & Copper. I'm ignoring the Vikings.
The two Silk in Cymru Straits (LC & CJ) need walk back to RC. We can either use them in a wonder, or rehome and deliver to Dehli if it continues to repeat Silk Demand.

Send Civvium silver to the Indians and get the overseas bonus!

The Cymru Straits could pick up the two silk vans in Cymru Straits and drop them off at Elysium, saving their legs a bit, then pick up the Civvium van for delivery to Madras.
