Maybe we can make another legislature for mayors, and it can be the "House". So we will have the Senate, for governors, and the House, for mayors. anyone else have feedback on this decision?
I don't teenk soo, hombre. Mayors are not elected and therefore are not really accountable to the public. We also have a difficult time filling the Mayoral positions and a "second legislative body" should have a set number of seats in it. I think this would be considered as "over-complicating the game". Keep the idea factory running, tho.
If Mayors were included in the Consitution, and then elected through a normal process, I would be less opposed, but in effect, by that point everyone would be in the Senate.
I oppose this proposition the same reason as Bill and Cyc.
If this happened then the possitions of mayors will become a powerstrugle betwee the citizens that named them and thoes who want to be mayor.
