I notice the forest chop by Istanbul. On this map, we really need to be careful chopping forest. Most of our production will be from forest tiles. I cancel the chop, as I prefer us to chop tiles outside of Istanbul's 21 tiles. All we will do is create a plains tile, which is pretty useless.

Konya is formed to claim the gems. I steal the deer from Edirne (with too much food) and start a worker. After merging in the Engineer we only need to wait 10 turns. This city is really jammed tighter then I would like, so I feel this is our last natural settle. The next cities need to come via war.
(IT) England got a prophet! The used it next turn to build the Jewish shrine.
35 BC
Persia just aggressively settled next to us.
Summary:
Persia won't be an easy target. I found three cites with walls to bring down. The big advantage with Persia is diplomatic isolation.
The English and Dutch share a religion, and could very well tag team us in a war. However, York is easy to access and has the Jewish shrine. It is building the AP due in 27 turns.
Economy is our big issue right now. I have workers connecting our last cities now. We really need shrine income to keep growing.
Konya badly needs culture. York is ready to expand its culture influence again. The monastery should be whipped as soon as the city is size 2.
Music in 23 turns, and we should hopefully grab that free artist.
I think Istanbul must stay in pure wonder mode to speed up more GP. The question is Parthenon or National Epic next. The Great Library is due in 8 turns.
