REALLY like the medals award! As long as they keep it purely for "cool points" and don't change the units at all that get them. It should just be something that is purely cosmetic
I agree that the idea is great, but that it should be costemic because otherwise you have that added to the normal promotions that units get for experience. Perhaps unit that do something extraordinary (like the spearman taking out a tank) should get one immediate promotion. This could be based on how long the odds were that they beat which the game calculated anyway.
I'm fairly new to the game and I didn't know that you could name units other than naval units....which I always do because it makes the units "come to life for me". I'll have to start doing that when I create them because it would be a blast to track them and their success. Thanks for helping me make the game more than numbers crunching.
