Again the armour has a real nice finish. Hope in keeps in shine in game after a few rough battles. :) @Mirc has me noticing the food icon and must say that added nice a touch of class. This mods on fire

Im happy when you came back you settled in on making some goods for the real game instead of Warhammer for a change :p . Thanks to you and Yoda for commiting your time such a worthy endeavor. All over the world, Civ3'ers of all types now (fantasy and Real) are rejoicing you work! Thats kinda cool when you think about it. (forgive me if you were making history based work before warhammer I am realitivly new here so can be excused)

Unfortunately, the holidays are over :( But I think all that was to be done is done :D I'm hoping for a couple of full games before the release, which will also provide some final screenshots.

Here's the English Billman. I'm not sure about the accuracy of the first attack animation, but at worst, it can be turned off, since there's the second, simple one.

Leaderheads used for the basic version. The French and Byzantines could use a replacement one day, but I think it should be ok for now... if you have questions/doubts about some leaders, ask now!

a short info about the BIQs included.

MEM - random map
MEM Europe (Large) - 130x102 clean map of Europe, 31 players
MEM Europe (Small) - 80x80 clean map of Europe, 20 players

there's also three more, which haven't been throughly tested and may be included separately:

MEM Western Europe - 120x100 clean map of Western Europe, 25 players
MEM Europe (Large+VP) - large map with VP scoring and additional rules (collecting VP through trades)
MEM 11c Europe - that's the 11th century Europe with pre-placed cities and two different civs (Georgia and Vladimir-Suzdal Rus)

Here's a screenshot of the 80x80 small map. It's super fast - for quick games, or slower computers:

Maybe this is just me... but I have to take it out of my system :)
It seems to me that you guys are focusing more on Western (vikings too), Arab and Byzantium Civs. I'm not talking about Serbia... I mean what about Eastern Civs, I mean Slavic, Teuton and other pagan civs you got there...
There are already a lot of units and LH's for the Civs you are working on, but not for the ones I'm talking about.
I just think it would make the game more interesting. I know you are itching to release the mod(?), but maybe in the expansion pack you could work on it

There its out :D

It's just you. I mean, come on  Eastern Europe has great coverage, given the fact that we are focusing on the whole Europe and its enemies. There's SIX (6) Slavic civs (versus 2 viking or 4 arab... come on!) + 1 Baltic (the only that mattered, if you look at a grand scale).

As I see it, you would like us to remove England, France etc. or Middle Eastern civs and replace them pagan tribes of Eastern Europe? I don't know if that would be more interesting... but I know that wouldn't be a mod about European Middle Ages.

Not sure what you mean by "Teutons"? Teutons were an old Germanic tribe, non-existant by the time of the Middle Ages (or rather, they became "Germans"). If you mean the Teutonic Order, this is a German catholic military order that created a state in the 13th century. They are in game - as a German Small Wonder producing the Teutonic Knights unit. The mod timeline is 700-1550, so the Teutonic Knights are not in as a civ. They are planned in a High/Late Middle Ages scenario together with Crusader kingdoms and Wallachia.

embryodead great work man! it look so good, i dunno if i can wait any longer >_< lol but i gotta. and about the billmen animations...

i believe a standard billmens first attack (after a charge) would be a stabbing move followed by a slashing move. also playing medieval II: total war, i noticed the billmens first and usuel move is a piercing/stabbing type. just some suggestions. no biggies though ;) great work man!

embryodead I wasn't talking about replacing the civs or adding the new ones... I was talking about creating more units and LH's for those civs you entered, but not for England, France, Arabia etc. Because there are a lot of stuff already made fore those Civs. So I just thought you could in the version 2 of this mod, include more UU's and LH's for the Civs I was talking about. But hey thats my opinion :)

You didn't actually specify them ;) I can think of some, but I can think of many others in Western Europe and the Middle East that we didn't include as well, and would be more important too (e.g. Papal States, Flanders or Norway).

i would include norway over florence, since florence really wasnt that significant. damn flemish people :crazyeye: . anywho, the papal states would be pretty important too. but they cant really get too powerful. if you incorportated the papal states you wouldnt be able to show thier real power. i dunno that would be a difficult civ to do. IMHO
