Meet the Modders

I would like to announce that earlier today i was at the mag publisher's, and he told me my story will be in the issue comming out in half a month. He also said that he might need a second, smaller story, for the same issue, for a different part of the magazine...
Also said that everyone who read the story loved it.

It seems i will be published in this magazine in the future as well, all goes good for the time being! :)

Congratulations Kyriakos!

Well done Kyriakos! Great things are going well!
I'm back from Dresden since Friday- meeting went well, university looks good, city looks beautiful. Looks like I might well be moving there when I can.

I might be going to a conference in London in two weeks if any London civvers would like to meet for a pint? :D

I am afraid that this is lights out...

It looks bad for Greece. I am now very much considering enlisting in some program for relocation to another part of the EU.

You're the Greekest person I know.

Well, i lived for three years in London. I would love to return to England, although i am not sure how much it still is as it was when i had been a student there.

My literary work will continue, hopefully it is not complete lights off for everything here, but i have no prospect of work in this country.

You can always come to Argentina. Nobody wants to work and the teachers are very sadistic (I endured one such session today), also it's terribly hot. and the girls here outdo Ms. Pharmaki. :p
btw there's lots of Greek-ish people here. You wouldn't be out of place in name lists. You should see my class!

Isn't Argentina the Greece of South America anyway? It would beat the point of trying to get out of this mess...

Oh, and it should be Θηβαικός ;)

I KNOOOOWWW! But I couldn't get the Greek settings of this stupid keyboard to combine ο with ΄.

Wait! Random mashing of keys has produced effects. It's the one labelled as an 'Ñ'. Strange, eh?

όόόόόόό!

Edit: back to serious stuff, Argentina's not quite like Greece.

Or the Maceodonians who fully deserve their name.

But, still, this place is gonna blow up in a few years.

There's still plenty of work in London. Every second building had a "Staff Wanted" the last few times I was there. Germany isn't a bad choice either, as there's work to be had, as well as a decent standard of living.

I managed to write 5 new stories this week :)

Granted, most of them are quite small, but still it is a return to some good form.

Wish the same could be said for the country though.

I've handed in my thesis chapter on 'anti-Catholic and anti-clerical humour during the Reformation'. Fingers crossed I get accepted to the PhD.

Glad to hear you're on a hot streak Kyriakos!
