Mega Noob Question Dont Eat Me!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK.I GOT THIS GAME YESTERDAY FOR 7 BUCKS ON SALE AT A STORE.ANYWAY TO THE MEGA NOOB QUESTION.EVERY ROUND IT SAYS THERE IM DANGEROUSLY LOW IN THE TRESOURY.I HAVE ABSOLUTLY NO GOLD NONE ZERO DOHNUT.(HEY THOSE ARE KINDA FUN).ANYWAY I BUILD MINES IN LIKE EVERY SQUARE IN MY CITIES. AND I STILL GET 0 GOLD.AM I DOING SOMETHING WRONG????? PLZ HELP!!!!!!!!!!! I DONT WANNA BE POOR THE WHOLE GAME. ALSO I AM REPUBLIC SO MY MILITARY MIGHT BE TO BIG BUT I LOOK IN MY ADIVISORS SECTION AND IT SAY I GET 0 GOLD INCOME PLUS ALL THE OTHERS CIVS ARE TO MEAN TO GIVE ME A LOAN.MAYBE I SHOULD JUST ROB THERE BANKS.

Step 1: Turn off caps lock.

Step 2: Build more roads. Roads make money (buy stuff), mines make production (build stuff).

Step 3: Lower Science/Entertainment slider so you have an income.

Complete agreement with JustBen. Especially Step 1.
Also, when they're available, build commerce producing improvements like marketplace, bank, etc.

On the bottom right of your screen you see your current treasury and the gold you make each turn, and the %-age of commerce you put into science, luxuries and taxes.

Can you tell me what they are. Perhaps a screenshot of your core gives us clues which allow us to help you as well.

no joke all serious i think its because i put entertain at 60% and science 40% and i have we love the king day in every city. every one is happy!also ill send a pic just tell me what button in the game makes the picture.

60% Luxuries! No wonder you are making 0 gold! Crank that down to about 10 - 20%!

How do I take screenshots?

• Use the capture-function of a graphics program

• Hit the 'Prt Scrn' button on your keyboard. Then open a graphics program such as Paint (you can use the windows key, then go to Programs....Accesories...Paint, this way you don't need to exit the game), then you 'paste' and there's the screenshot! Remember to reduce the image size a bit, or crop it, and save the file as .JPG.

You need to point to where you uploaded it. Also, no spaces between thge "IMG" tags and the link.

Does this work? My firewall at work blocks the upload server from viewing, so I don't know if I fixed it or not.
