Memory Allocation Fault despite Win 7 and 6 gigs of RAM

I'm not familiar with Win 7 - do you have to run things as an administrator?

It's basically Vista but with the speed of XP.

Is Vista faster than XP? I'm still happy enough with XP pro at this time.

Does the mod need to be run in administrator mode? Would that affect the MAF problems?
