I'd like to give the citizens a chance to rate, comment and give suggestions to the current administration. Since this poll can't possibly be binding, interpretation of the results mean little. I would like to know what the citizens feel about the current job being done. This will help the current administration better work towards the citizens goals.

The poll has been marked private and will be open for 4 days. This poll is strictly in for informational purposes, hence it has not been put in the polls forum.

Thank You.

With the new poll logic, I was under the impression that polls like this should be put in the citizens forum. I don't remember the exact post or thread, but I believe it was donsig who stated this. (Correct me if I'm wrong.)

dang you guys are doing as good as most politicians....

This gives some of us who didnt win a confidence boost. :)

Minimal leadership.

Some communication.

That Game Session.

Could have been worse, but could have been a lot better.

No fatal breakdown, so that's good enough for me!

I think we'd benefit from having a deadline for making major decisions -- or delaying play out of necessity1 when it is clear the people aren't ready. We slipped into a couple of tech choices without a definitive read of the citizen's choice because there wasn't much attempt to cut off endless debate.

My opinion was that the reaction of some to "The Session" was significantly out of proportion to its effect on the [civ4] game.

1Reminder, I'm opposed to unnecessary delays, but some delays are necessary.

I agree with Dave's idea that we need to have a deadline for decision making, maybe someone in the government should be in charge of making sure that polls about crucial topics, like technology for example, are set up in time for play sessions. I don't know who's job this might fall under, or if a new office would be created.

Sorry, but doesn't 38% mean 38 out 100? But, there were not 100 voters.

Let us stay with the simple truth: 8 yes, 7 no, 6 impartial.

This, and only this, what happened until now.

Best regards,

You may have to refresh your math, fed1943. Percentages reflect a relation between numbers. This will often end in decimal figures and to "fix" that you can multiply the result by 100 to get percentages (aka procent in some languages) or by 1000 to get promilles. It's just to make calculation easier for some people.

I object to this poll because it is a private poll. The government needs to know who is against it. <ducks>

I actually voted no. I like chaos, and overthrowing and fighting against a government that was elected is the essence of chaos. Look at the left in America.

My thanks,Hyronymus; but it would be to learn, not to refresh.
I just know math is a language, that, as any other, can present things more or less clear they could be seen without.
To "translate" 8 yes, 7 no and 6 impartial in other figures (like percentages)
is just a valuation of the fact, not the fact. And only the fact is true.
And here the percentages are less clear (of course, this last point is also
a valuation).
Best regards,
