mini-NotW XIII - Death of the Tyrant

It was just to generate confusion.

The basic set-up was one serial killer (tk could put his -lit- bottles of cooking oil up for auction and so trick people… that didn't work out too well, especially with civplayah random-killing tk), two werewolves, the Ymmaps the kitten who could scan peeople, Arakhor who had a 50% chance of successfully protecting someone at night (he never sent in an order), Skooma who could roleblock (how did you people miss on civplayah the first time? If Skooma had said 'hey, I roleblocked civplayah and there was no kill' he'd have been toast) and TFA who could target a person each night and everyone who that person met would be scanned (but not the target itself). TFA only did two scans in the whole game (hilariously, once he mindgazed Winston who was targetting him). And I think that was about it.

General evilness. He never once struck gold, however, the cat's antics were one of the brightest points in the game. btw no, you can't kill the cat after the game is over…

The only time I felt certain of whom to protect, Skooma had already been lynched!

At some point me and winston worked out a yes or no message system via PM where one meow was yes and two meows was no.

sorry about my general inactivity, I wish I hadn't forgotten about this game until takhisis mentioned in some other thread how people had forgotten his game

So that's why Winston wrote to ask about what he could PM. I did tell him he could say meow, now that I remember…

That would explain the five or so PMs I had from him that were solely made up of meows… :)

Hmm, I can only blame myself for this loss because Yoshi's new at mafia...

So what was scummy about my performance? My hyperactivity?

When watching you, yeah, the hyperactivity IMO. When you started getting voted on, you began posting a little too frantically.

Well...it was better than everything I did :D

Really you got killed largely by the scanners, which there's not much you can do about. Killing robbiecon got me leaning towards you as scum, because I thought it was likely there was one scum amongst us, but I figured on three wolves, so I wanted to wait on you, since you were the one I had contact with, and therefore a small chance of manipulating.

The crossbowman draws a bolt, places it in his crossbow, aims perfectly at the annoying cat, and fires.

I had the 'ability' of not being able to change my vote. That could've been more of a risk for me than it was. Luckily for me (sort of), I didn't survive that long.

Oh I forgot! Your vote was a tiebreaker. I did write once about the Golem pushing someone down the hill I think.

When I said killed by the scanners, I meant both the roleblock and that presumably winston had a decently long list of confirmed innocents by the end of the game.
