Hmm.. well... ok I guess... I kinda hoped to have a whole little colonization thing... :(

OHHH so say so!
just change me to ... hmmm
china!

unless you want asia empty, so Rome.

Nope China is great!

In fact, Asia is not empty at all. Like I mention, the whole world is FULL of countries, it's just that only the human player ones are visible. In fact, China was one of the ones that you couldn't see. In the first turn they expanded in all directions and built a temple which resulted in an increase of education and economy.

Nation: China

By the way, what would everyone say to having only 1 UU during the whole game :D? It can be REALLY powerful but it would only last for a certain amount of time. More like civ3 that way.

why tiny army? atleast small, i'm the only one without a navy!

sure, i'll give you small

I had kind of messed up explaining it in the original rules. The options that I wanted to give you guys were

1. Tiny army, no navy
2. Miniscule army, Miniscule navy
3. No army, Tiny navy

Some of you took it to mean you can have 1 tiny and 1 miniscule. So many in fact that I just decided, "eh, screw it".

Update 3600 BC

The civilizations of the world start a period of great expansion and growth.

The Holy Roman Empire continues preperations for a Great Crusade, which is by now halfway ready. They continue expanding South and run into relatively few problems. Not to neglect the people, Charlemagne increases the economy as well.

Directly to the West, the United States of Europe start a giant map, which they claim is for the Glory of Europe. Due to this purpose, the project gets it's modern name. Scouts hurridly travel in all directions tofulfill this great project. The army is increased, while the present forces focus on gaining control of the coast.

Directly to the North, the British aren't doing too bad either. They start a wonder in their capital of London, Stonehenge, meant to increase the education and culture. It should be completed within 6 turns, during which time the British may not start any other wonders. British workers lay down stones in what become the first roads of the known world. People find safe traveling for the first time which brings the economy up. The constant presence of British warriors marching North to uncharted territories only increases the mood of safety among the British populus, which results in +1 people's mood.

In the Fertile Crescent thins aren't going quite as well. Yes the Israeli economy begins to slowly improve, but this doesn't stem the constant attacks from Israeli youth throwing rocks at the king's hut, but at least a few people have jobs as the King's gardeners. The army recieves harsh treatment as well, as their size is blamed for the hard times. Their confidence starts to falter a bit as they march South. They start approaching the land known as Arabia, when they're assaulted by a group of Arabs who mistook them for a rival clan. Apparently the army was passing along a criscross of vital trade routes which the local Arabic clans constantly fight for. The lightly outfitted clansman are nearly all annhialated, but as they have horses and the Israeli's don't, a few of them flee back to their camps. They go back and raise the alarm. Bad news considering that the Arabs appear to be a crazy people who constantly fight within themselves untill somebody else attacks them. Then they all gang up on him, and after that all go back to quarreling within themselvs.

Slightly to the South, in Mecca, a mysterious group enter town. They're badly injured and say to be from the clan of Quaresh, and that they were assaulted by an army to the North. They demand revenge, and many of Mecca's citizens do as well. In an attempt to distract them while thinking of what to do himself, the king begins the Mecca Bazaar in hopes of increasing the economy. The Arabs gaze appreciatly of the economic wonder set to be completed in 4 turns. The King is meanwhiel given horses by the Quaresh clan, in hope that they'll have revenge.

In China... a new ruler arises but forgets to give orders. His Country Expands anyways.

New Units

Arabic Horseman: A speedy hit and run type unit mostly used by the many Arabic clans in the peninsula. Their biggest advantage is that the riders know the terrain they reside in well.

-----

From the People

"War? Goody, I was just about to polish my sabre anyways. Now I'll have something to use it on" happily exclaims Arabic merchant Ismail Al Saffuriyya

"Bah stupid king! I remember the good old days when our country was a recession!!... now those were the days" dreamily remembers Aviv Hacohen.

"Nice roads... now this is what I like about our goverment" sais William Worthington, an Englishman who has recently joined the new profession of "merchant", roaming the new roads.
