In Denmark, a Nordic people come together under chiefatin Sharkey. They are at the bottom of nearly every category of world standars, but they do have one thing going for them.
They are the only people able to build longboats. Fast ships that can travel long distances and carry many supplies. Their only weakness is that they're practically worthless in actual sea combat.

Update 3200 BC
In the forested lands of Europe, good news are abundant. The great map grows more and more complete in Amsterdam, while the USE army grows ever larger. They also meet the kingdom of Denmark. The Danish border guard exchange small gifts with the USE counterparts in the first documented exchange between the two peoples. The Holy Romans also meet the Danes, as they too expand East. Richard's Crusade is slowly getting more and more complete. Most important of all, the Holy Romans and the USE agreee to an alliance. The Romans below them go on with their predetermined plans caring not about the going ons in the North.
This opens up an opportunity for the Europeans who launch an attack on their barbarian neighbors. Most unfortunatly, there was a bit of a mix up between the two coutnries. The barbarians everyone was talking about were the GAULS who live in France, but USE and the HRE seem to have mistaken them for the Goths, who live in Germany. The result is a considerable expansion on the HRE's part, while the USE merely has border skirmishes with the Gauls. The chief of the Gauls Vercingetorix, launches a daring plan, and raises up an army of Gauls. This military force is hardly organized, but it is very large. They march through their lands, in an attempt to strike a blow on the USE which would force them to leave their lands alone.
The Danes slowly begin to try and catch up to the rest of the world. Their army is modernised, which results in greater sales for the blacksmiths. This not only increases the economy but the troops morale as well. To the South, they fortify their border and expand slightly.
In Arabia, almost all of the peninsula is under control of the Hedjaz. Yemen is conquered easily, and Arab soldiers expand to the Southwest as well. Meanwhile, the East is still controlled by bandits who constantly pillage Hedjaz trade routes. This results in -1 economy. The people are outraged. They demand that they conquer the looters and crush them under the feet of the Hedjaz swordsmen. Meanwhile, the Hedjaz builds a colony in Africa. To the North are the Egyptians, and to the South are a people known as the Ethiopians who ask for nothing but peace and understanding with their new neighbors.
In the lands of Timbuktu, the Mali finally reach the coast. They meet a people who are experienced fishermen and who readily accept their rule. Awed by the Mali power, they join their army as well.
In Israel, King Amirsan increases the economy and threatens Egypt. Considering that the Egyptians consider themselves superior, this does not go well. They declaer war and seize as much of Southern Israel as they can. Their army is not very big, but it presents a threat.

"Those Egyptians are weaklings. Still... perhaps it wouldn't be too bad to accept Persian help" ponders Israeli bowman Noam Levi.
