All these personal pictures, I feel left out.

Sadly I am replying from my office computer so I only have pictures of me at work. But sometimes, anything helps.

thanks .. I made them myself.... ok Sherry helped :p

Here are a few pics. Don't let the animals fool ya, we're city folk. These are just the most recent ones that show up well. ;) The gal holding my son's horse is unrelated, she's the wrangler. Can't find a pic of my wife, she's the one holding the camera.

Cute kids!!

DAve that couldn't be you... didn't someone tell you that you had to be bald to be on this team. WE're currently under negotiations to kick RObiD out for that lush mat on top of his head

Ignore this post except as a cautionary tale about the evils of dial-up.

ok, I need to confess...not yet bald...though I am trying very hard to lose more hair
I got very lazy taking pictures lately and the only times it happens, is when I get back to my family.

So, here is a picture me (the supposed lecturer) with some of the students while being on a community service in Thailand in autumn 2005. This was the relaxing part after all the dirty work.

Ah the universal two fingers behind the head gesture with the hand. Nobody is quite sure of its exact reason but it's results are un-equaled in hilarity.

plain stupid if you ask me

Sounds like a teacher if you ask me. :p

Thanks for all the pics everyone. It seems we have some budding civvers in the making. :D

I qualify under the eccentric part instead of the bald part.

My daughter likes civ already, though at 6 she has not a clue what those funny looking people on the screen are supposed to do. She has a potential career as a tester though, with a natural knack for crashing software of all types -- if her first plan falls through. (astronaut + baby doctor -- totally her idea too) :D

We are the Bald and Beautiful Eccentrics.

If you get rid of the people with hair then you would just be Bald and Eccentric :D

It's wonderful to actually see my team mates!

Booti, you and your family are the very essence of what I think of as a beautiful, delightful family. You must be very proud of them.

Well, I know I fall into the eccentric category, so I think I can relax now. :p

Aww, with all the cute kiddies i have to show you my pride and joy.

This is one from last year taken with my dad, who is 60 and still got his hair so i wont be losing mine anytime soon:p

nice picture, Robi

And there are a lot of cute kids on our team.

My duaghters are budding Civ(ers) too, though they lean toward CIV. When I sat down to play last week both Ham and Cheese (their nicknames, in polite society they are Katy and Becca) roamed over, sat in my lap and barked out orders.

For the younger (Becca/Cheese) this involved zooming in in the various animal resources and mounted military units, especially anything involving elephants.

For the older (Katy/Ham) it involved running through the diplomatic options and commenting on the apperance of the leader, the quality of the music, and proffered opinions about which ones looked mean and which ones looked nice; with followup questions about why the mean ones were angry with me. In fact Katy loves the music from CIV so well that she asked to bring the soundtrack CD from the collector edition CIV I bought to preschool last year for music time. She loves the 'Baba Yetu' theme and reqests it regularly.

Actually, my love for both my girls and Civ has moved me to assign traits to my girls.

Katy is definately creative and charismatic. She loves to draw and pick flowers and make gifts and her +2 culture shows itself in the rapid spread of these works of art throughout the house, my office, and to her friends at church and school. Her charismatic trait comes through in any setting with more than three people. When she walks into her kindergarden class she is greated like Norm from Cheers and begins to 'hold court.'

Becca would definately be Aggressive/Protective. Being three and described as a 'Cupie doll on steroids' she seeks to take whatever interests her, including the toys of her creative/charismatic (and in these cases - dramatic) neighbor. And she is also protective. This promotion is clearly seen when territory is taken (as often by guile as force) and then defended most admirably. Becca is far less diplomatic than her charismatic sister, but seems able to expand her territory just as effectively.
