Deviant Mind
You’ve heard the all the arguments, read the 9,000 threads devoted to them, and spent an entire week playing one of each just to see for yourself, but now we really will know: which is better, the CE or SE??
[cue dramatic music]
Rivals: 6
Difficulty: Monarch
Map: Lakes (I think)
Size: Standard
Speed: Normal
Victory: All Enabled, but you need to win via space.
Variant Rules: No barbarians.
You must run either a straight cottage or specialist economy (which means NO cottages), which means:
CE players:
* Can never *hire* specialists (only citizens), but free GPs, wonder-based ones are okay, as are using them for whatever ends. However, the SoL and Mercantilism, which *hires* a specialist for free are out. ("if you can't choose it, you can use it")
SE players:
* Can never cottage, and must raze captured ones as well.
Dramatis Personae:
Players will be judged by total commerce output (GNP) as well as most beakers per city, most beakers per civ, and most beakers per team.
Again, this is on my 'to-do' list for tonight, so I will put a game together and try to WB the save as well ~
