When I meet Os-Gabella i always have 4 negative points of diplomacy (even when i'm evil civ) because " I lack Grace". why that? what can i do to fix it? thx!
Hello Mesix,
When I tried to do that it threw a major wobbly and the mod wouldn't start up.
Maybe I was doing something wrong. When I open the XML in notepad I can edit the values, save and close, but FFH will crash at start up.

Also, what's everyone's favorite race?
I like being the Vampires, but they feel a little overpowered.
I like being the Elves, but they too feel somewhat overpowered.

Well... I'm pretty close to saying "Adios Amigos" to FfH as much as I enjoy the game. Since patch "g" (and given that I don't see anyone else complaining, I'm apparently the only one experiencing this issue!!), I've had three games on which I couldn't procede any further due to the "Send error report" message (THREE!!). And I'm getting them earlier than ever...
The last game I was playing Beeri Bawl of the Luchirps (huge Terra world) and I encountered this issue on turn 369.
I'm going to try one more game and if it happens again it's back to the standard (and now boring!) game of Civ 4 BTS. PLEASE let me know if you have found anything on this problem or if there's another game configuration (i.e. smaller world?) that I could use to avoid this error.
Thanks.
So there's a bug with the Lanun Harbor - sorry if this has been mentioned already, but it's pretty much near impossible to surf through 337 pages in this thread. [Sidenote suggestion: Why don't you start a NEW bug thread for each patch you make? That way you get more efficiency and less repetition]
The bug with the Lanun Harbor: You can't build boarding parties, because boarding parties require Harbors and the Lanun Harbor is apparently not a harbor. Which pretty much sucks if you're the Lanun. And yes, I had the proper tech for boarding parties.
Yep, that's a bug. You can easily fix it though, by updating the PrereqBuilding attribute on the unit from BUILDING_HARBOR to BUILDING_HARBOR_LANUN. You'll have to do it by hand (update CIV4UnitInfos.xml) as the editor seems to fall over with a bug in one of the scripts when trying to make this update.
First off, HOW do I know when to send it in? Secondly, I've asked for input from the developers SEVERAL times and not gotten a response. Third, why do you think that they can fix it BEFORE it happens rather than when it is actually occuring? I'm a programmer (be it an old f*rt, but I have worked with Java, Visual Basic, and an exotic form of Basic) myself and I can tell you that when the error is NOT occuring is the toughest time to try to correct a problem -- I need to see the problem occurring in order to see what is going on (i.e. debugging it). I'm fairly certain that C++ (or whatever language it is) doesn't likely break this principle...the poll for favourit races is just right here:http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=259602
you might want to send in the savegames before the error happens, so Kael can fix it![]()
I have... several times (i.e. submitted save games). I thnk that the game is great (haven't played normal Civ 4 BTS since I found it), but it is extremely frustrating to get so far in the game and then not be able to progress further. Though, in the last game, I didn't particularly mind since it was a REALLY sucky game...Perhaps you can make save games and send them in so others can look into them and hopefully find out the reason? Though I understand your annoyance, with the current rate of progress I'm sure a very stable version is just around the corner![]()
Almost nothing in this thread is ever responded too... Just learn to live with it. If i ever got to talk to anyone that were actually working with the mod there are probably a dozen bugs i would want fixed but since that is basically impossible you just got to live with how the mod is...

If the developers feel differently, then they can tell me and I hope they do.
A question: is there any pre-made scenarii ? I dislike playing on random maps.
