You are right, we are working on it. The first step is to create all the new stuff. The second is to teach the ai to use it. We wanted to get this playtest out before we started ont he ai to see if people liked what we had done. Changing the ai is very hard and we didnt want to change it for a feature and then remove the feature and waste all that time.

I have noticed something in regards to the Animal handicap change. Animals are now too strong somehow.Though my captured animals are now far more useful... I am having wolves and lions destroying scouts now, even when I am in a forested hill, a lion(not tiger or bears oh my), but lions Str2, beating my scouts(Str1+Combat2(20%)+100%animal+75hill/forrest).. that can't be right... I know early scouting is supposed to be risky.. but this is not an abnormal situation.. it happens to me constantly. Something to check out.

hey keal, hows the new custom music part doing? i wonder if you made any new songs for a new intro music, new order, leaves, and runes religion music. I also like to hear some music from the Cult of the Dragon religion also.

I havent done anything on it to this point. Im more focused on getting things fixed and adding in strategic components than asthedics at this point. Since all of the music I add significantly increases the download size I don't think I will be adding many new tracks.

I would like to have a different tune when the cult is founded though.

Im glad the actual strengths are being compared now, but I may lower the strength of them to get it closer to where it was before (without the animal penalty).

Well I have had those spells, but all it shows is the grassland/desrt change. I try to get them going befor the Genisis Wonder (Excellent Woder I might add) to get my "Polar Cities" growing, but I have yet to see it done. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. I have had archmages and druids. Maybe THEY are just not smart enough and I'm the genius LOL I'm sure I'll get it right sometime

The orcs tend to be lowed costed but lower power. For their scouts that means that they only have a move 1, but they cost 15 instead of 25.

I am sure. I wouldn't bring it up without checking to make sure, as best I can, that it is indeed a problem. It happened to my Warriors when playing the Elohim, and it's happening to my Elven Warriors now as the Ljosalfar. I haven't confirmed this yet, but it does seem to me that it happens more to Warriors/equivalents than it does to later units. I'll try and keep my eyes open and see if that is indeed the case. But I know that around 50% of my Elven Warriors in this game have been produced without the Homeland trait. And they are Melee units, so. *nod*

And as for the goblin, ahh. I hadn't noticed they produce faster I have to admit. Fair enough. :D

So I noticed just now, playing my Ljosalfar game, that I can't build Lumbermills on New Forest. Intentional?

And secondly, I'm wondering if New Forests will turn into Forests over time, or will they always stay New Forests?

This may have been pointed out already or not, that I do not know. But just in case it hasn't.. It seems that the Altar of the Luonnotar gives the Blessed promotion to -all- units produced, and not just the ones in it's city. Which makes it pretty crazy-powerful.

It is every city now, but not changed in the pedia yet. I think it was underpowered before, but now I'm not sure.
 
If that's the case then it's still underpowered. :)

Any thoughts that a trip back into a city could regenerate the promotion?
 
Kael, the Team,

I'm playing the Amurites (as usual) and when i look at my diplomacy with Morgoth of the Sirdar (which are evil if i'm right) i don't see the -2 malus.

I don't know if it's a bug, a forgotten, or if i'm wrong.
