[MOD] Fall from Heaven II

hey, can anybody tell me where the music piece in the "Form of the Titan" wonder-video is from?

Secondly, the "-100" makes it so you cannot adopt religions?

A -100 relgion weighting towards a religion makes that particular religion unadoptable. I think that the way this weighting works is to multiply the percentage of a civ's population that follows the religion by (100+weighting)/100, which would make the game not believe you really have the religion in any of your cities if your weighting is -100.

Lastly, how is a "recon" unit defined (i.e. what tag is used)?

The same way any other unitcombat is defined, by having <Combat>UNITCOMBAT_RECON</Combat> in the unit's define.

That is what happens. The Sabastial (sp) screen pop up then the scenario screen with several scenarios some locked. What ever scenario I start it is on a small (duel) sized map with no terrain at marathon speed. Something is wrong. The random maps work right and so does multiplayer.

I just wanted to say "Hello!" and thank the FFH team for their work of this great mod.
Thank you!
:goodjob:

I got confused by this at first. I think what you're doing is clicking on the scenario title then clicking exit on the scenario screen. What you should be doing is clicking on the small icon to the left of the scenario title. Then the scenario should load and you'll get a proper intro and map.

Having Sabastial pop up is normal.

Is there any (positive) impact on scenariofunctions files/modularity?

The code review is mostly a final chance to look through everything Ive written to make sure Im not doing something stupid. I also remove any code I added for features that we dont use. So its possible that it may have a negative side effect is a modmod is using a function that FfH isnt (that function may disappear).

On the positive side FfH should get to be more stable and faster. Which is good for everyone.

The writers should seriously consider writing a novel on this stuff. I mean I personally think fantasy novels are usually cheesy (LOTR excluded of course) but for some reason the whole "battle between heaven and hell with earth caught in the . .. .. .. . middle" thing is kind of cool. I was very impressed by the storyline of the falamar scenarios and it kept me hooked. Great job guys!

So it turns out the change of the great library was a (unwilling?) hoax: At least with me it still gives the 2 sages after patching to "t".

I think I forgot to hit the export button. It will be in the next patch.

are you going to leve in the landmarks like the lake and ring of rocks that don't do anything, or are you going to give them some benifit?

I have a few questions about both gameplay and storyline:

1) Do multiple Privateers plundering trade from the same city each get a full share, or is it split between them? Also, does the Raider civ leader trait double this? (Or whatever the one that gets you double plunder some land tiles is called)

2) Does the angel Brigit have any special abilities making it worth the bother of freeing her? I was playing Calabim and decided to switch a city over entirely to food production so I could have a Vampire Lord feed from the city until he was level 15 to free her... and was kind of unimpressed. I was like "Wow. I think I just killed a hundred thousand people for some strength 6 chick. Oops?"

3) How many large cities does Kuriotates get? Does is vary based on world size?

4) Something I've always been unclear about: Will having multiples of a luxury have added bonuses? Like if I have 3 Cow resources in my empires, does that get me three food per city, etc? I know that mana bonuses are cumulative, since FFH was nice enough to point that out.

5) How the heck do you kill that barbarian dragon, Meshabber of Dis or the last Horseman? They seem invulnerable even to my wave attacks of mercenaries, since they seem to level as I am throwing my hordes against them.

6) Svartalfar with Fellowship of Leaves and Guardian of Nature really is sexy, isn't it?

7) Who exactly are the Three Horsemen? Servants of Agares? Of the original Creator? Something else?

8) What happens if the Armageddon Counter gets to 100? Kaboom?

I'll have more, don't you worry! :D

3) How many large cities does Kuriotates get? Does is vary based on world size?

From Xienwolf's manual: (which you should download, its great)

Duel - 2 Cities
Tiny, Small & Standard - 3 Cities
Large - 4 Cities
Huge - 5 Cities

4) Something I've always been unclear about: Will having multiples of a luxury have added bonuses?

Nope.

5) How the heck do you kill that barbarian dragon, Meshabber of Dis or the last Horseman? They seem invulnerable even to my wave attacks of mercenaries, since they seem to level as I am throwing my hordes against them.

Collateral damage.

8) What happens if the Armageddon Counter gets to 100? Kaboom?
Play to find out.:D

Oh and don't knock Brigit. True immortal, hero, and you're forgetting the +3 holy.

Do you mean the Standing Stones and the Pool of Tears? They do something.

The Standing Stones provides Earth Mana and if in a city radius gives +1  in that city. The Pool of Tears heals the Plagued, Diseased, Poisoned, and Withered promotions from any unit that moves onto the tile, and similarly gives +1  to nearby cities.

I meant the one tile water isle, thanks for the info on the standing stones. The civlopedia had no entry on that.

#2- Brigit has immortality, #7- manifestations of the fear of the gods.
