[MOD] Fall from Heaven II

Anyway i've played AOM and watched Monty Python and I know that those weren't made on the spot. I'm just pointing that out Ffh rocks :)
 
why is the dragon so loud???
 
I noticed that too. It's not the attack sound that's a problem, you expect that to be loud. It's the snorting when he's just sitting there. I had to turn the ambient volume down because it was overwhelming the music, and then I couldn't hear any of the other background sounds.
 
By the way, a dragon (or worse, a couple of them) with multiple moves (and worsest, accompanied by commando knights or rangers with multiple moves), is just huge. It reminded me of Cat in Red Dwarf, going around spraying stuff and saying, "This is mine, that is mine, that's mine too...." :lol:
 
Ya that would suck. Speaking of spraying, why does the screen flash red in battle sometimes? They can't have THAT muck blood and... CRAP! THE GAME CRASHED! :0
 
Sorry, I have to use this post cuz the window screwed up. Anyway, this is a response to the one right below: Which would you rather have, a gun, or a horde of unholy demons? I don't know about you, but I'd pick the demons.
 
One of these day's someone will make a mod-mod of Fall From Heaven 2 like Orbis and Fall Futher, but make this mod progress from this time period into the modern fantasy world. Now imagine Orcs Granadier's, elves got dynamite arrows, and many things, from gothic medieval fantasy, steampunk age, magic vs technology, and the future of both.
 
Hello, i got a pb with FF2 since i patch BTS to 3.19 (i was 3.17)

Before, everythings was ok, but now i can't no more play to FF2

However, in the first post, it's written that FF2 works for BTS 3.17, and Higher...

What's wrong :confused:

That's apparently a mistake. Kael is going to release a patch compatible with 3.19 quite soon.
 
order sounds awesome. Where did you get that soundtrack Kael?
 
Patch "b" is linked in the first post. It will break save games and makes the following changes:

1. Updated Searph model by WarKirby (original version by C.Roland).
2. Converted to BtS patch 3.19.
3. AI will pursue favorite techs (usually religious techs) correctly now, weighting improved and it looks deeper in the tech tree when considering techs).
4. Fixed an issue so Unrestricted Leader game option works.

hey guys, I just realized something. Okey, so this game is a polytheistic religion-based game, right? we've got Malcarn and Succelus (both now deceased) and other gods and goddeses like Bhall, right? but I just remember that in the tech 'orders from heaven' that they talk about guys doing God's will! Are we talking about the Christian God? If so, where did these other gods come from? Are we just throwing gods around like tennis balls, or what? Am I just missing the bigger picture? If so, would somebody clear it up? I mean if this is the Christian God, why doesn't he just zap everybody searching for Armageddon? Help!
 
Step 1: Redownload the full version of FfH. You can't patch directly from 40z to 41a, and besides, a full redownload will help it load better (more art assets pak'ed, etc.).
Step 2: Apply 41a patch.
Step 3: Apply Media Pack

Steps 2 and 3 don't really need to go in that order, but it seems like a good order to me. Oh, and FfH isn't yet compatible with 3.19. Happy trails!

nice, but something like this should be on the first page or somewhere, where it can be found. Page 453 is no place where someone is searching.
Additionally: There is no possibility to get the version information from "FallfromHeaven2.exe". The programs I compile contains these via right-click->properties->version. But I don't known how the packager/installer handles this.

But now the setup checks the installed folder and is 3.19 compatible

I don't know if that is intended, but I experienced that all culture expansion values have been doubled i.e. you need twice as much culture for your city radius to expand. As this is not listed in the changelog for "b" i guess (or rather hope) this was unintended, came with bts3.19 and will be fixed?
