[MOD] Fall from Heaven II

That's apparently a mistake. Kael is going to release a patch compatible with 3.19 quite soon.
I don't plan to install 3.19 until the Game of the Month starts requiring it. Is there any way to get an earlier version that works with 3.17? I found the "vanilla civ" version but would prefer a BtS 3.17 if one is available.

just download the main download and apply only patch A, it is still on Kaels server. (click here to download) It works I just tested it

It will be very awesome and very essestil if someone can make several videos for each and every scenario explaining the opening and the endings of each, not the slideshow like the beginning of every map you start, like an original scene like a movie in a theater.

I will also be great if each and every leader has a voice, and you can hear him say those words on the screen, and also have an animated background and advance animation. I could imagine Falamar, you could here and see pigeon's flocking on his ship, with the sun bringing up another day, hearing the pigeon's call, while his ship is moving with the sea. You hear his voice that sound like an irish/pirate accent. If only I see such animation on each and every leaderhead, this mod will gain a boost on awesome detail.

Can anybody point me to the changelog for 41b?

Recreated:

Patch "b" is linked in the first post. It will break save games and makes the following changes:

1. Updated Searph model by WarKirby (original version by C.Roland).
2. Converted to BtS patch 3.19.
3. AI will pursue favorite techs (usually religious techs) correctly now, weighting improved and it looks deeper in the tech tree when considering techs).
4. Fixed an issue so Unrestricted Leader game option works.

Usually, the best place to find this information is here: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=308020

Best wishes,

Thanks Breunor.

CRAP! I just had the worst game ever!

well first I spent a few turns trying to get rid of lizardmen, then the illians used their world spell (the one that knocks out production and research for 20 turns) then I finally killed that one lizardman with a hero that took 16 turns to make, then my ally was brutalized by the lanun, I joined the fight eventually, then my hero got killed even though he had a 90.4% chance of winning and all flanking promotions. I thought this was unfair, so I went to worldbuilder to right this wrong, then he tookk out a horseman, then they tracked my hero down and killed him a turn away from a friendly city. I was steaming by the time I decided to quit.

but I just remember that in the tech 'orders from heaven' that they talk about guys doing God's will! Are we talking about the Christian God?

No, about Junil, the god of Law.

While in FfH, the does exist an analogue to Christian God, the ultimate Creator - the One, he is rather non-interventionist. At least, for now.

well I read about an 'order' hero and in the description it said Junil lifted the seven pines feature from the world because it was sacred. Why can't Junil use that power to kill demons and ashen veil civs?

Question about something weird that just happened.

I was playing the Shiem(?) and had 3 cities building their ritual that increases the Armageddon counter by +5. One of them completed, and suddenly the counter shot up from 51 to 100!

I'm not aware of anything in the game that could have caused this. Any ideas?

maybe it was a coincidence. Maybe a bunch of civilizations declared war on one another and you weren't informed because you didn't know about them yet. Beyond that, I'm clueless. I don't make mods, I just play them.

I've had some experience with civ4 and I know when global relations fall apart, they fall apart big time.

Why can't Junil use that power to kill demons and ashen veil civs?

Read about the Compact in civilopedia. Basically, it's an agreement between all gods that they will exercise only a limited power on Creation.

tell that to the Mercurians, dude.

Well, they are rebel angels. Basium is against the Compact.

well, how about that 'order' hero sent by Junil to protect the seven pines? Junil left him on Erebus.

Such things are permissible.

I noticed a possible bug in 0.41b:
It seems that the adaptive trait does not work properly anymore (at least in multiplayer). You are asked to pick a new trait, but afterwards your traits are unchanged (i.e. not only thedisplay of traits is buggy, but also the effects of the old trait still occur instead of those of the new one. Also Basium does not loose his traits, when his unit Basium dies. Both of those occured only once and I have not tried if they can be reproduced.

Seems like there are a lot of bugs thrown up by 3.19. Is FFH playable at the moment or is everyone using 3.17, patch a, and waiting for patch c?

I'm already stuck with 3.19 so I went back to vanilla civ for a while while waiting and it was a pleasant change to compete against competent AI again, but I do miss the personality of FFH. Here's hoping the next patch comes soon...
