Nice to hear. Still, could you please tell us how many hours approximately are left to the release? I feel like a child waiting for Christmas and it would be nice to know whether I could plan something for the next 30 hours or should I wait for seven hours to be finally able to download it (which probably won't be possible anyway since many people wait for the newest version).

It's good to hear about the separate forum - Thunderfall's name be praised - but will it be opened at the same time as the release or is it already working and I'm simply oblivious to this fact?

I'll send an update when i start to upload it, that should allow for an ETA. But up until then its hard to say, I do have some cleanup issues I have to get done.

Thunderfall will have to open the forum, so Im not sure when it will be open, it will probably preceed the release.

Well, historically speaking one would fling dead animals into a city in order to spread disease to weaken a defending force in a prolonged siege. So they may be using it as an additional disease vector.

You're right, of course, but I'd imagine them ejecting living cows into their enemies. Imagine the terror spread by a mooing projectile... Plus it would be nice reference to several games (namely Earthworm Jim and Baldur's Gate 2 - there was at least one more but I can't remember the name)

It's mostly a reference to Monty Python and the Quest of the Holy Grail. The other game you are thinking of might be Sacrifice, which has the spell "Bovine Intervention" which drops a cow on top of enemies, which explodes in a shower of blood and meat. Tasty.

Despite the fact that Kael more than once mentioned the group's influence I seem to have completely forgotten about it.

I've never played, or seen for that matter, Sacrifice though. So that's not it. Still, I'm glad we agree that cows falling from the sky are awesome (even if a bit grotesque while landing).

Yeah and it could be done by a single person - imagine someone deciding to post one letter per message and they'd all make up to a sentence like 'release the damned mod already or I will put a curse on you and your descendants up to third generation!' That would enough for five pages only, though... Will have to come up with something more creative...
