I like it! At first I thought it was a lark; but this idea has a lot of merit, with all of the slave revolts in game.

Perhaps a crucifiction tile improvement? -20% strength to enemies in nearby square. -1 war discontent if worked by city. 1 turn to build. Can build outside borders like a road. Or could go very vlad the impaler and have a forest of impaled corpses or tiles heaped up with bones, bone waste sort of idea. But seriously, this could have a purpose. In a wasted blighted area separating you and your neighbour, erect the crosses or the impaled and face the enemy near them. Poorer morale they might lose.

And the truly sick could have crucifiction squares following their roads across the land. It would look very impressive.

promo without desc: yes, new promotions was added short time before release, so we don't have time for update civpedia

yes, i know this - lack of time prevent me to update civpedia
and about your HotSeat MP problem: i tested this on 4 different computers (all my co-workers now have civ4 installed :)) and without any problem - this look like prob in your comp - maybe some setting in civilization? how you have set graphics options in game?
 
I was playing last night on a 6 civ custom continents map on Modern start and the game kept crashing about 50 turns in. I replayed from an auto save a few times but it kept crashing at the same spot. It was right about when we were finishing our first technology (plastics, flight, ecology or radio).

Later I reinstalled to 2.02 and replaying the same game settings didn't give me any problems. I'm on my work computer right now but later when I'm home I'll email you a saved game just prior to the crash.

I'm playing the Japanese in the realism world map mode. I am allowed to build Rabbis, although I don't have a single monastery. The same about Jewish inquisitors.

Just reporting this as a bug. I don't use this not to be cheating, but the AI might be less ethical about it.
 
i just wanted to say THANK YOU! this mod is absolutely awesome. almost all the grief i have with Civ iv is fixed! i like the slower pace of technology.. usually, by the middle ages or renaissance era, i was just racing to research technology to get tanks/artillery to attack. and i REALLY hated having my tanks beaten by non-gunpowder units with all the defensive bonuses. absurd. the depth and attention to detail is extremely impressive! and you continue to improve with each update!

and like i told you in 2.0 everything was fine.

And i want to know if you will add more units in future version?? cause i feel like it would be fun if there was more ship,maybe plane and tank or land units.

yer, basicaly when you build the tomahawk missiles there is no way to put them onto nuclear subs.They fire within their range from where they are built but thats it.

the helicopters cant take any units at all, nothing can be loaded onto them, the infantry chopper is the wrong way round, for example loading the chopper into the ifv.

also the redcoats, its not a bug but more of a request, recoats where more than a match for the rifleman yet there ability is so low. They where the best troops of the age.

Way too much to read and I didn't see it covered in the OP (or maybe I just missed it), but is the latest version compatitable with 1.61? Warlords?

Is the install a standard install, where it doesn't change any actual files and runs just like any of the included mods?
