well i've done it all 'right' far as i know

my pc upstairs has 2.1.1 running fine.

here i have been having trouble...but i think i have finally got it!


i just wanted a family guy flag...why just because :) so i cannot incorperate?

first of all gratz to the TR team u ve done some great work :)

regarding those annoying crashes:
my current game is crashing constantly at 20 BC so i took a look with worldbuilder and deleted all catapults i could find but the game is still crashin.
just right befor it crashs there is a great artist/scientist (dont know exactly) born to my civ(germany). maybe this great person causes the crash?
 
i managed to get past the crash point (by switching with one of the AI in my SP game, with a save game edit util) then played a couple of turns and the game crashes all the same.. when trying different civs with this editor, i discoverd that when switching with the MALI's civ the game wouldn load, the map would display and then the game would crash.. Can i use the world builder to "delete" the MALI's ?
 
sorry i thought i edited correctly...what do i need to change to get say 2000 turns on world map

i changed max turns but game still 900?
 
im wondering if its possible to keep this particular great person from gettin born so its possible to see if it`s really cuzin the crash

Interesting. The best way to do that is sending us the savegame. Check page 1 for new email address. Thanks for testing around. It is always good trying to isolate the problem. I think this might have something to do with the Mod.ini file problem. Have you both installed the Hotfix that Mexico published back few pages?

@CarpDiem, when you start the Worldmap do not load it as Scanrio but Custum Scenario and change the rules. Unselect Time Victory, now you don't need to worry about the 900 turns anymore....

Thanks. Be a bit patient guys. We will work out each of these bugs 100% in the next patch. The more save games you send the better it is.

Hi i was playing fine for one day and then i woke up the next day and the game wouldnt start no more... it shows the loading thingy at the begining and then error and ask me to send it in or not, do you know wats going on?

This happens to me too. Just try loading it a different way, like if you load it with the desktop icon, try loading from mod menu in game. And vice versa.

Just keep trying and it works eventually.

Any idea why this happens guys?

meaby somebody should make a chinook helicopter unit that can carry infantry ( an Mi-24 Hind that can carry infantry is also an good idee, there is already an mod on filefront that have an mi-24 ( i think onder the name :
mi-24 ).

also can somebody PLEASE make an mod with an nuclear sub that can carry ICBM's, more ships like that one from civilization III that is not avalible in civi.IV ( something like ''ARGIS'' ) more helicopters and more tanks ''you'' could aid the ''SAM mobile & Mobile Artillery'' mod in to it and make air vehicles able to move just like Infanrty unites and to make stealth-bomber's able to carry nukes becouse they can do that in reality after all...
