[Mod] True Culture Location and Territory Naming for the Giant Earth Map

I'll look into it as soon as I have cerebral capacities to spare :-D Isolating the 16 plaxer maximum from the mod won't be that much work. Making it work in the first place was pretty time consuming, though. Amplitude limits the number in the lobby to ten players even though the framework supports up to sixteen players. The reason behind this are runtime complexity issues, which Ampltiude is apparenty not able to resolve due to all the concurrency that is happening. This also is the reason why Gedemons mod stalled mid-game.

In theory, with those complexity issues resolved... it would be even possible to increase the player maximum far above 16 players.
Hey, I just wanted to check in and see if isolating the 16 players function was still something you were willing to try? I was also curious if you think it’d be possible to use in multiplayer? Hope the new year is treating you well.

Hello, is there anyone that would like to give me a hand in updating this mod? There are some definitions and names that have changed since the mod was last updated but I think it's doable with a bit of team work. Or if anyone knows exactly how to updated it and just needs the publicized assembly files, I can provided them no problem. If anyone is willing to see what can be done to update the mod, write here or send me a PM

@cuso210 Hey, I'd be down to help with that, and I've got some experience updating dll mods and defs for Humankind. If you could send me over those assembly files, that'd save me some time!

@cuso210 So any news on an updated version for this mod? Ironically the Failure of Civilization 7 has made Humankind popular but without this mod it's not what it should be

Bear with me for a few more months. I am almost done with my other existential tasks and projects. Last two years have been full with unexpected events. Half of my family and relatives died.

Updating the mod shouldn't be too hard. Isolating the 16 player parts neither. But multiplayer support will be quite a difficult task as debugging and testing would actually take two clients... and without any financial support I don't really feel motivated to buy a second setup (including a second copy of humankind) just to implement something I don't have a personal ambition for.. So... I would keep my expectations low if I were you.

Enjoy the summer.

Im still working on it, I found some bugs I'm wrestling with, but work is being done.

Im really sorry to hear that, take all the time you need. There are more important things to focus on.
On the meantime, I've been working on updating, fixing and adding some mechanics from the old mod with the ones you introduced, so if you ever work on this again, I can totally help you with it.
