I just tried to upload my latest Wonder mod, and upon upload I get the usual File ID recieved, Processing mod, but then it comes up 'Fail with Code: FieldNotFound'. It's not just my mod, DonQuiche has had the same error attempting to upload Ingame Editor v20.

I'm getting this as well. Just tried to put up an updated version of Government Buildings and all ok until that point.

The progress bar goes too 100% instantly, which always makes me think it's not likely to work.

I've been unable to upload as well.

You guys still having issues with this?

I'm still getting the same error...

Anyone know if it's across the board, or something we in particular might have going wrong???

It's affecting everyone - or else there'd have been some mods uploaded within the past week. Something similar happened 3-4 months back - the problem was on Gamespy's end. PMing dshirk might get the ball rolling for a prompt fix - as bug posts on the official forums haven't been answered in months.

Guys, just a quick update on the situation. At my thread on the issue at 2K forums:

Hey guys, I've let the team know about this issue and they're on it. As soon as I have an update I'll post it here.

Hopefully we will have a resolution soon.

Important warning: do NOT try to upload your mod until it's officially fixed. Because should you suddenly success to, you would end up like me with a corrupted version of your mod on the network and unable to remove it because the online service now makes ModBuddy crashes anytime you log in.

If anyone encounters the same problem, here is a little tool to make a mod private without using ModBuddy. Source code (C#) is provided. To use it, open the .config file in the release directory and change the login/password/etc values.

EDIT: Small update, I removed something that shouldn't have been left in.

GameSpy thinks they have the issue addressed. They also fixed a couple submissions from yesterday that had the corrupted field.

Let me know if it's still failing for you.

Thank you very much for the information, dshirk. :)

Indeed, I have been unable to connect to GameSpy through ModBuddy, make the latest version public again and download it and install it from the ingame browser. I didn't try to upload a new version but everything looks fine regarding the formerly corrupted mods.
