Modbuddy/VS IDE help

In my day to day life I use Intellij on MacOS for development. I just bought a windows machine for the first time in 2 decades for steam and modding.

tl;dr -- I'm frustrated because my dumb brain can't stop trying to treat this environment like my normal work environment!

Problem is, I can't even find a place within ModBuddy to change the key mapping? I see packages online for normal Visual Studio that add new key mappings, but ModBuddy doesn't seem to like this.

- Am I missing something? (re: keymapping in mod buddy)
- Do I have to use ModBuddy/VS? Can I use standard VS or any other IDE?

I actually use IntelliJ Idea for modding and just use Modbuddy where needed such as building out the mod. I generally have Modbuddy and Idea open at the same time.
