Modern Misogyny

There are like...100 different varients of spoken English on the British isles alone. What are you referring too? For instance, i hate the scouse (liverpool) accent but i quite like the Leeds/Yorkshire accent. On the other hand I despise the weird Islamic-Asian accent going on in areas like Bradford, but i quite like the normal Bradford accent.
It's like saying the american accent sounds awful.

A lot of it is just what you're used to, I think.

I can't see there's anything to like or to dislike in any accent, by itself.

well, just how people pronounce words can sound subjectively nicer on your ears or not. for instance, you can get a woman who has a sexy voice, it's possible.

The term "most" was critical to the statement.

How the hell is the word she and her offensive? Can someone please explain this to me?

Also, the C-word is often used at least from my experience. I actually hear it not as a insult most of the time though.

I certainly won't be voting for Gillard or Bligh.

Where I live the c word is one of the most objectifying, rude, insulting words you can use, particularly when talking to women. It's just bad form.

Other than Cockney I really couldn't say.

On another side note: I find certain American accents to be soporific.

I really like Cockney. And I'm not even biased by upbringing.

Agreed. Thankfully, it doesn't seem to see much use for precisely this reason.

No-one that I know says it to women, unless they deserve it.

Try living in Queensland, and you will see why I won't vote Bligh. Gillard is not doing a great job either, and whilst I'm not a fan of Tony Abbot at all, I can at least hope for a tiny speck of improvement.

EDIT: Bligh is a terrible premier. Newman will hopefully do a better job.
