Modified Scenarios Workshop

No problem :)

I've made an alternative version of the later Mi-24 bubble-canopy version. I don't know if it looks worse or better than the original, so maybe give it a try for the 1980's file and see which you like best:

I don't pretend to be a snob :mischief: ... but I keep this unit :goodjob:. The new armored crystals are amazing. It is always very difficult to generate 3d spaces in a flat image with no space or shadow around it and in such small sizes. I can't help but be grateful for your digitized "lead soldier" collections, evolving and improving over the years, becoming increasingly complex and elaborate. Nor of course from those who generate new quality units from yours, such as Tanelorn, Thyphoon, Erika or Civ2units.
Thank you :hatsoff:

The basis for converting the scenario to ToT is already done. It remains to include some arrows: I will include the Marine Corps units of the Warsaw Pact with the conquest of certain cities. But I find myself with the following doubts: being a scenario of conflict, I think that a time clock event could be created, so that the player, if he does not provoke it, meets the war (but if he is already at war, that event would be superfluous and I am not clear on being able to make it not appear if that state is there) and it must be made clear that if the player wants to develop the full potential of his enemies, he must destroy the border posts (it would be good that until were destroyed could not penetrate the territory of the countries, but it is what there is). If someone has any idea, or believes that a unit is missing (perhaps AA at airports) or another question, please do not hesitate to say so.

Gapetit, have you ever converted a scenario about the expansion of the Aztec Empire in the immediate pre-Columbian era? It was a favourite back in the old MGE days. I can't remember it's name or author, which is no help I realise, and I couldn't find it looking back through your conversions.

Yes, a incredible scenario and with your units. Yes I had converted it to ToT. I'm in the town with the movil and without computer. Tomorrow or Monday I will send it.

I'm not sure at this distance in time. All I remember clearly was you played as the Aztecs and tried to build an empire at the expense of your neighbours before the Spanish invaded. Looking at the Age of Discovery scenarios on the SL Wiki this one might fit the bill, although I no longer have my MGE/FW discs to check:

The Fall of the Aztecs 1519-1529 by Macario Reyes

I think I originally got the scenario from the Spanish site which I guess is no longer on the interwebs

At this point I'm fully indoctrinated into ToT, but those city graphics are a real nostalgia magnet.

I owe you am internet beer

That's definitely the scenario I was after - thanks!

I have modified with Fairline graphics, in a previous post, the units of the excellent scenario of Nikoagonistes: Sobieski:

https://forums.civfanatics.com/resources/jan-iii-sobieski.17611/

But the stellar comeback of Mercator, with the improvement of one of the classic Civ-2 applications (that it is more powerful now): https://forums.civfanatics.com/threads/civsprite-2-beta-create-tot-sprite-files.658428/, which we have all tried to use with better or worse fortune, has allowed me to make a new modification of the Sobieski units, also adapting the sprite.

I hope you like the result.

With the new version of the Mercator application -CivSprite2-, I have modified the following three scenarios. I have kept the three files of the conversion, in case someone wants to modify them: units.txt, units_mask.bmp and units_sprite.bmp. Many thanks to Mercator.
