Modified Scenarios Workshop

The problems are not massive. At first I did not notice at all. It's just some rivers appear to be broken up and a few coastlines are slightly blurred. Should be easy enough to put right.

If the map is not quite right I'm sure we can extend it west. The only issue may be the maximum size, but I would imagine there is still some wiggle room.

Doesn't matter, it works. My son is asleep so I started doing the Crete part.
From previous experience I change vertical dimensions, save, check then reload change horizontal dimensions, save, check and stick to even numbers to avoid distortions. This always happens to mapedit changing between even and odd number dimensions.

Has anyone here by any chance tried out the ToT version of the Lost Paradise scenario?

Some weird crash always happens a few dozen turns in. Never seen it in any other scenario.

ERR_PORTALLOCALFAILED

and something else.

   Yes Curt... The end of all wars

Thank you petit! For your answer concerning Lost Paradise.

Has anyone ever tried to convert Eivind's Blitzkrieg 1936? I have no made two failed attempts to convert the scenario (downloaded here: http://sleague.civfanatics.com/index.php?title=Blitzkrieg_1936)

The first ettempt gave a .scn file of size 0 kb. The second attempt gave a .scn file of size 478 kb. Are there any common errors know to cause this? I have tried converting other scenarios, and until know I have always succeeded in getting civconverter to work.

I should have done my homework - turned out to be the labels.txt error. (Found the explanation on Catfish's Cave).

Hello
The great work of Fairline and Tanelorn (without forgetting either Broken Erika and Typhoon), has led me to adapt to TOT, a series of scnarios of the late twentieth century, in which I could include their excellent units. There are not many scenarios of that time (and even less of the 21st century) ... some are very limited or rare ... but these are almost all. I hope you enjoy them:
Desert Storm by Insurgent
Guerra del Cenepa by Pablo Suárez
Chechenya War 1994-1996 and Abu Sayyaf by JAPR
MALTA! by rmsharpe

Awesome gapetit! I've only previous had versions of Chechnya and Malta - and never Malta converted for ToT before!

Small changes that improve these scenarios:
Chechenya War 1994-1996 by JAPR
Desert Storm by Insurgent
Given these two are both in the same general geographical area of the world, any chance Exodus will see the light of day to be converted?

Geographical area????
Without a doubt Patine, know what you want. And, although retired :mischief:, I say to you: if you manage to converge to Fairline, Tanelorn or another one with that quality, that makes the graphics, that same day I start the conversion. Luck! :p

SPANISH CIVIL WAR: THE DEFENSE OF MADRID (version TOT)
A scenario dedicated to the volunteers of the International Brigades
by Jesús Balsinde:
https://forums.civfanatics.com/resources/spanish-civil-war-the-defense-of-madrid.27027/

And I have included new updates of the scenarios already uploaded in Industrial and Modern Scenarios. I think I'm almost finished with all the conversions to ToT. Any failure or problem do not fail to tell me. Thanks and best regards

Hi all,

Would anyone know how to modify the text in the “Orders” menu when you have an active engineer type unit?

Menu.png

In my case, I want to change the menu label from “Build Airbase” to “Build Siege Works” but when I look in the labels.txt file that seems to control the menu entries I can’t find any reference to “Build Airbase”.

Code:
&Build New City|b
&Join City|b
Build &Road|r
Build &RR Track|r
Build &Irrigation|i
Change to %STRING0|i
Build &Mines|m
Change to %STRING0|m
Set &Home City|h
Go &Home To Nearest City|h
Transf&orm to %STRING0|o
&Improve Farmland|i

I also checked the game.txt file but see no reference there either.

@tootall_2012 I believe this is in the file menu.txt, within the @ ORDERS section. The actual contents of the menus are apparently generated from a combination of several text files... I've never seen documentation that describes this in detail though.
