I don't know if that was ever converted. It would certainly have been one I would have downloaded if I saw it, and it's not on my CPU.

I remember playing a PBEM of that one, long ago (it might have even been back on Apolyton) where I was playing Russia, and, amazing claimed a farcical cassus belli that the, "legitimate," Government of Ukraine (a, "Neutral," nation in the game) had been compromised and invaded. Imagine that! :ar15:

October War brings back memories. It has a great map and some very innovative ideas. One is the idea that to get certain reinforcements you have to research particular technologies, and your reinforcements then arrive via events. It's a concept I've used repeatedly, where units were historically produced off map. Otherwise, it shows its age. It could really do with a comprehensive make over and modernization.

Indeed, it's an idea many of the reinforcements were acquired by in my Korean War scenario, as well.

Pending more @Fairline's units upgraded by @Tanelorn, the King David scenario units are almost done...

@gapetit Here are the guys with the faction shield devices, the siege archer and the Israelite cavalry. Unrelated to this scenario I added a Hittite hero dude and fixed the legs for a pair of Chaldean spearmen.

Great contribution Tanelorn. I love heroes. Only I am going to modify the Phoenician hero, because the Hittites were already in the original setting, but I believe that this people has nothing to do with the Phoenicians... Am I wrong?

@gapetit The Syro-Hittite states (ethnically Luwian and Aramean vassals) survived the 12th c. BC fall of the Hittites up to their conquest by the Assyrians in the 8th c. BC.
Uriah the Hittite was famously the soldier husband of Bathsheba, whom King David send on a suicide mission in order to take his wife. Bathsheba was eventually the mother of King Solomon.
And yes, you are right.
