This library doesn't have mods, just links to their threads (and dead dosen't refer to whether or not the links work.) :)

Great! Just follow the instructions on page two (quote the library's messages, copy/paste the contents from the message preview box, remove the quote tags, edit so that all the new additions get in and then make a new thread. I'm sure the mods will unsticky this one and sticky the new thread you made.

Cheers everyone, kids are doing fine and my retirement from Civ3 has been a complete one. :)

    Hello everyone:

I´ve been visiting this site for several months and i think it is the greatest thing i ever seen. Because i´m a "conscript" in Civ modding, I have some questions:

1- I have the earlier and first version of Civ III: can be Modded only Civ 3 Conquest? It is posible to add more "Ages" besides the originals in the game?
2- Which are the tools needed to mod Civ 3 and where can i get them?
3- The units i´ve seen here are really marvelous. I´d like to make my own to contribute, so:
    - What programs do i need to do so?
    - Is there any site where i can download clothes, armor, horses, weapons?
*Of course i´ll study your tutorials first.

Anything else you want to teach me about,
    Thanks

I just barely became a member here but I have been modding this game for a few years. I dont think you can add more ages or at least I dont know of a way. As for units, I use other peoples because im not much of an artist. Hope this helped somewhat.:goodjob:

I currently have 8 eras in my mod. 6 should be added as soon as Sandris can finish his next pack.

    Version required: Conquests 1.22
    Download size: 30MB
Notes: Plays like [c3c] (not heavily modded). Errata in post #11 of thread suggests "fixes" for errors, but most recent biq has no known issues; Civilopedia is complete and describes mod concepts and changes.

    Version required: Conquests 1.22
Download size: 7MB plus additional unit files
Notes: Not playtested with unit A/D/M values; units are not all in one place, borrowed from [ptw] and other mods, such as Warhammer. Civilopedia is complete and accurate. Undead faction not added yet.

Description: Expanded Units, Governments, Specialists, Resources, Improvements/Wonders, Landmark terrain, expanded/enhanced civilopedia.
    Version required: Conquests 1.22
    Download size: 150MB
Notes: Redesign of my old Civ2 - ToT "Original Plus / Unit-Mania" Modpack which adds in a large number of extra units for Civ III Conquests (making a total of 326 units) as well as extra Improvements, Governments, Specialists, Landmark terrain, and various tweaks. Several Streams of Land units. Extra Strategic, Luxury & Bonus resources added for complexity (total of of 74 Resources). Most other standard Civ3 Conquests settings have been left alone, so it should be regarded as simply an update of the old Civ3 Conquests rules which does make it easier to play for Civ3 aficionados as most of the units, tech advances, governments, specialists and buildings/wonders etc. from the original are still there with similar or same statistics. Just more stuff in between.
