Mods more taxing on your comp?

Seems like my comp is using more power and is more taxing when I use mods. Maybe because they are not optimized?

The mods that have been created so far should have no measurable impact on your PC's power usage playing BE, I don't know what would be causing that.

Yeah, mods really won't do this unless they're heavily graphical in nature. Even then I couldn't think of one from either Civ 5 or BE that would do that.
