Monarchist Cookbook Game IV: Mao Zedong of China
We will be playing Mao Zedong of China on Monarch difficulty, Epic Speed, Standart sized map. The map script used for this game is the new Planet generator script, which can produce a huge ( so huge I simply forgot of exactly the settings, in spite of being similar to the NC X game ) variety of land and sea combinations. Huts and Events , as in previous game, are off ( they can be hugely unbalancing )
Spoiler for starting info:
Chinese UU, UB & STARTING TECHNOLOGIES INFO , as well as leader trait info:
Our Leader:
His UU:
His UB:
And finally, our starting position:
Round one lasts from 4000 BC - 1500 BC.
Please play this Round and submit your Report into this thread by next Tuesday if possible. Deadlines are flexible in summer vacation times, though
IMPORTANT: Please do not discuss opening strategies until after you have played and reported Round 1. Before that please use spoilers.
At the end of your Round, please remember to name your save with your name, game and Round # & game date (i.e. "MC4 Round 1 MyName BC-1500.CivBeyondSwordSave"). (And please don't forget to attach it to your Round report, either, lol.)
Roster:
WinstonHughes - featured player ( if he wants to )
r_rolo1 - member,
for MC4
futurehermit - member and Deputy for MC4 ( if he wants to )
Diamondeye - member
OTAKUjbski - member
Bleys - member
YOU! - contributor, voter - our most important fixture, the readers who follow the threads and play along. For the record, in the last game, NONE of the "Roster Members" actually had a round chosen, all the rounds were the work of the readers, so YES! your round DOES COUNT!
For this game , we'll introduce a new system of choice for the next turnset save. Instead of choosing the best ball game, every player that post a save and a report from that turnset will have the right to vote this way:
Best save ( in your opinion ) - 3 points
2nd best save ( in your opinion ) - 2 points
3nd best save ( in your opinion ) - 1 point
Votes should be sent to the current
via pm. Save choosed will be the one with least votes of the ones that have votes at all ( this means that someone voted on it
). Only votes from players that played and posted that turnset ( from the oficial save ) will be counted, in spite of shadows being welcomed.
----
And with that, let the Game begin ...
