Using the AutoLog again, it looks nice and clean, since I did the same thing I do each round, rename the "Your Details", save, exit, reload.
The first thing I noticed when I opened up the save was two very important deficiencies, not enough workers and not enough cities following my religion. Being in OR, this was hurting me baddly. I like squeezing hammers as much as I can, so watching those non-Hindu cities build stuff was painful.

Here I decided to build a Galley in Cologne. It was a LONG haul around the bottom of that land mass, and I would need galleys on that side ASAP anyway. I also whipped out my Courthouse in Berlin, and started a Maceman to get some stronger units built, even though I had no intentions of going to war. Units serve many purposes, happy faces under Monarchy, and increased Power Ranking to deter attacks. I tried to slip units in between buildings, just to make sure I had them. Nothing sucks worse than wanting them and not having them. Rather have them, and not need them right away.

Got the Harbor Master event here. I am planning to try to get it done, since Harbors are strong anyway, and a few Caravels wont hurt (they upgrade to Frigates)
I had a couple other events, but I am not bothering to post screenshots. One slave-revolt in Berlin, and one Mine-explosion. Thank goodness I had some cash on hand to keep things rolling. The Harbormaster is the only "good" one I got all set.

Some whipping here, to hurry things along some. Overall, I am trying to cut back on the whipping, I want some growth now that I have my happy cap problems solved.
Paper also comes in, and I start Music, for the free Artist. I want the circumvent bonus for my water-riding Settlers, and getting AI maps as part of tech-cash sales is the best way to accomplish that goal.

Berlin finishes NE, and I also notice Saladin now has Monarchy. He will soon be after Feud, but my espionage points cant quite see his research.
I also noticed he would finally trade me Calendar, so I jump on it. I cant remember what I gave him, though. I had started a Cat in Berlin, but I quickly switched to the MoM, one of my favorite Wonders. Marble too, this is going to be a breeze.

Here I pondered my tech choices, but in the end, I stick with what works for me, and thats Education. Yes, I know we have a big tech lead. I want to keep it that way, be one step closer to Lib, so I can tech around Lib but still be able to pop into it if I see an AI closing in on it.

Yeah, MoM is mine! I seriously love this Wonder. 15 turn Golden Ages are so good. I intend at least 3, the Great Artist I have sleeping, the Taj, and another 2-GPerson one later on, as I either push for a tech goal (combustion maybe?) or whatever. 45 turns of Golden Age at the cost of a few GPeople and some IND+marble+bonus hammers is a deal to me.

I have built a few more Workers, and now I get serious about spreading my religion. I should have done this MUCH MUCH sooner, but I tend to procrastinate in this game too often. Working on that. Most of my newest cities have already had a religion spread, so I have to manually spread Hindu to them.

Drama comes in. I can see by my BUG interface that I am likely to pop another GS next, and he can bulb part of it. PP is a nice tech for us, we will have lots of cottages maturing fairly quickly as our populations go vertical. Its also on the way to Replacable Parts.
Civics Change: Saladin(Arabia) from 'Barbarism' to 'Vassalage'
Well, there it is, the bad news, Sal has his LBs. No worries, Trebs soften them up, and Maces can finish them off, if needed. Trebs + Rifles seems more likely though. Fish in a barrel, even with all those promotions.

Theres the Scientist. I bulb most of whats left of PP. I am gunning for Rifling off Lib, MAYBE!! Depends on when I feel I cant put Lib off anymore. I dont mind my standard "Nationalism from Lib, tech to Rifles, get a Taj Golden Age, and Draft a winning Army" plan. Works pretty well on Monarch, and in this game, I can already tell I will have a huge military tech edge.

Thats it for that set. Lib is just a placeholder, no beakers. Same with most of the build queues. All in all, I am fairly happy with it. I got a few new cities down, started getting some units out, spread the religion around a bit (I have a Galley with 2 missionaries on it headed for the Cologne island), and got some territory. Heres some pics:
Next round goals include:
Gunpower and Replacable Parts for Rifling from Lib, maybe
More cities on the bigger island, especially the Gold site ASAP, then some units to take Barb cities.
Moving Capitol once a city seems likely, post Bureaucracy probably, since we may want FS by then.
More Triemes, and even Caravels for the Harbormaster quest.
Pros and Cons:
Pros =
Foothold on newest island
Still dominating tech lead
MoM built, and a Great Artist sleeping for a 15-turn Golden Age
Economy still very strong despite the expansion
+1 sea movement from Circumvent bonus (might have forgotten to mention it in report, but I traded for a couple maps)
Cons=
Still not enough workers
Still not enough cities with our Religion
Still not the best diplomatic situation, but Sal is high-Pleased so I dont mind
Could have expanded a bit more, let Sal sneak a city on a decent spot (May be able to culture pressure it enough though, with Theaters from all 4 sides)
