I'll post a pcx. I just need to make something, because if I do win, I don't want it to be my goodyhuts... XP

I'm not sure I understand. There are pcx and flic files in the download - and there are far, far more pcxs than flics. The flics don't even move - as I say in the title, they are static.

I see your point, but they are LH`s, in the format of LH`s even though the files are single frame flc`s.

I would see these as exceptions and would be willing to enter them in the pcx competition if there are no objections.

Maybe the competitions should be renamed, static and animated.
Units, animated LH`s, animated resources, etc... in one competiton, and all static files in the other competion.

I would find this agreeable as well - again, as long as there are no objections.

Are there animated resources, etc? I thought the only animated files were the animated LHs, units, and all files that fall into the 'Animations' folder.

There are lots of animations that didn`t have a place in these competitions, like my balloons for fireworks, Vuldacon`s many animations (I love his volcano animations), plague, flak, sam, nukes, etc...

I guess the animated resources were technically units that needed to be preplaced.

    Unit-resources. Or, Resource-units. ;)

The Monthly Competitions have always been your thing Pounder, after all, you're the one who has constantly be running them for... well for ever now

If you feel the need to make a change in the how the competitions are structured to include more of the files we're seeing being put out by the community, I see go for it.

Sorry to derail, but how do you make these static LHs?

I don't think that would be very workable - it's hard enough comparing units to each other, so how could anyone judge between units and LHs? I would keep things the same as they are. "Unit of the month" is more readily comprehensible than "animated file of the month". I agree that cases such as wolf_brother's might be a little hard to categorise; personally I would consider it a LH rather than pcx but it doesn't really make much difference. If it's to be entered under a different category, then fine, but I don't think it's worth redesigning the whole competition just because of that.
