Sorry to derail, but how do you make these static LHs?

I think it can be done with JASC Animation Shop... Is that correct Wolf Brother?

I don't think that would be very workable - it's hard enough comparing units to each other, so how could anyone judge between units and LHs? I would keep things the same as they are. "Unit of the month" is more readily comprehensible than "animated file of the month". I agree that cases such as wolf_brother's might be a little hard to categorise; personally I would consider it a LH rather than pcx but it doesn't really make much difference. If it's to be entered under a different category, then fine, but I don't think it's worth redesigning the whole competition just because of that.

It would also make a mess of the HOF, so it should stay the same.

MaisseArsouye wrote a tutorial for making static Flag LHs back in 2005. All that's needed is any PCX editor (I use Photoshop CS2) and Animation Shop 3 (Jasc Software).

Though again, I still view this more as a graphic than an animation. All you need to do with Jasc is load up your "Name_Large.pcx" file as one frame, and save it as a FLIC.
