I hesitate to differ with you, Kyriakos, but while I have use for a good resource and need to learn how to add buildings so that I can use some of your lovely work, I fail to see, aside from the novelty of it, the purpose for a farmhand combat unit. I am aware that many on the forum will likely differ from my, but one of my standards in judging units is how useful will the unit will be to me. One that I am not likely to use has little attraction.

Not sure if it looks medieval enough to be a peasant soldier...

... this competition is not for judging the "Purpose" of a Unit, Building, Resource or Graphics Work based on whether a player uses it as much as it is for judging the Artistic Work itself in Friendly competition

Kyriakos... Yes, the Unit was made specifically for EFZI2 Complete and is for the Farmers in the Game. It replaces the Medieval Resistor because that unit wears a Tunic and did not Fit the Game

Actually, it's called Medieval Resistor, just found the folder in EFZI II.

Yes, the Unit Folder and Name is Medieval Resistor. There is also the Modern Resistor that was used for the "Armed Farmhand"... I am also Replacing that Unit for the same reasons I replaced the Farmhand.

Hmm, that would explain why I view it as somewhat strange. That is one scenario that I have never even been tempted to download. There is "fantasy" and then there is "bizarre", and that scenario goes into my "bizarre" category. Fantasy is Tolkien, Howard, Burroughs, and Lewis, bizarre is Lovecraft and some of Bierce.

Yes, same as the Farmhand.
After Finishing the Armed Farmhand, I may just color the Scarf Reds without Civ Specific Color for the Farmers Champion Unit.

Goldfool and Kyriakos, you have posed for me an extremely difficult decision. I spent a month on my uncle's dairy farm when in high school, and attended a college where the corn fields started a quarter mile from my dorm. As such, I have a great appreciation for the agricultural community and take quiet joy at the sight of a well-maintained, brightly painted barn. However, I am also an historian, and have spent considerable time studying the Byzantines for various reasons, including their military and political structures. Kyriakos's buildings appeal to the historian in me. I am likely to use both of your work, the resource being easier, as I would need to learn how to add buildings to use Kyriakos's work. I do not believe that I can vote for two competing works. Choosing between the two is not going to be easy, and I may come to voter paralysis. Regardless, thank you both for your efforts.
