moo 2 starting help

I'm surprised at the lack of information I'm finding on this game. Got it a few days ago for 5 U.S. dollars and I'm actually kind of interested in it despite it being an ancient game.

So far I've managed to figure out out quite a few basics. I am experienced with smax and civ3, that "sort of" helps. But, I'm still not really sure what I'm doing here, having a hard time getting a grip.

Does anybody know where a good faq guide and/or webpage is on this? Hoping so, can't seem to find much in my searches.

I would of posted it there.. but, somebody made a post in that forum about moo2 and somebody snapped him saying "THIS IS FOR MOO3!!!".

Well, if that forum is for MOO3, why don't they call it a MOO3 forum and not a MOO forum?

I had this problem before with civfanatics. Damn if I do, damn if don't, can't seem to do nothing right here. Heck with this place.

I did find what I was looking for at gamefaqs.com. Didn't think of looking there right away and should of.

Lots of people play Moo2 still, and that forum is for all editions, not just 3. The Moo3 players are just pissed cuz they literally payed 12 times as much money for a game that's not even half as good as Moo2 is.

I still play Moo2 when I have time - if you have any questions, let me know. I'm no pro, but I've had the game since it came out. As far as good webpages go, well...there really isn't any - they have mostly switched to Moo3 or quit updating info. Get the 1.31 patch though - fileplanet.com has it if I recall, else search google.com for it. I have the zip file too if you can't find it. Get it though, it's a world of difference!
