Wow, this takes me back... and I imagine a lot of MOO-fans too. Where'd you get the screen? (It looks like a cut-out of an overview of all ship designs, with several ships and ship classes missing at the right end of the screen and names missing at the left end of the screen.)*

I got lucky and found it in some blogpost. No idea where the author got it.

Anyway, as to your question: I'm not sure what to answer... Do you want to do them all? Because then it won't really matter which one you're starting on. (I'm also asking, because eventually I want every race to have it's own customstyle fleet, just like in MOO. But that may be a long way off...) For instance, taking the top left row down are Titan, Battleship, Cruiser, Destroyer, Destroyer, and Frigate/Scout class units in more or less the same design style.

I can tell you some of my favourites: the Seeker, Condor and Warbird (but I've no idea how difficult they'd be to make a model of).

I'll keep plugging away. Right now I'm trying to take this flat image and make it a little 3d without making it too complicated. I think the simplicity of the model and texture works well for this mod. I'm not sure if the ships would work well in another mod though because they are basic.

Aw, that's a pity...:( I still haven't got any decent MOO2 shots and all that gets uploaded for MOO3 are really blurry combat screens with no ship details whatsoever...

Well, with all this exciting news I forgot half of what I was gonna post: for (hopefully) the next patch I want to add some missing traits for the

- Elerians: Omniscient,* Telepathic (=a.o. ship def. +25%, ship offense + 20%)

- Silicoids: Lithovore, -50% pop growth (seem pretty much to cancel eachother out), Repulsive

- Trilarians: Aquatic, Transdimensional (='enveloping' ship ability)

Any practical suggestions for the implementation of these traits are welcome!

* Would translate to RevealMap=1, I think.
 
Something of note, me and a friend were playing a MP game. When a starbase destroyed an enemy ship threw barraging the game would go OOS but only for a few seconds. I have never seen a mod that goes oos and then goes back in sync hahaha

My multiplayer partner mentioned he'd been adjusting graphics settings to the one I used; perhaps that's also a factor in reducing OOS errors. (We didn't get any, which was quite unusual.)

EDIT: I've added a line on the DL Page in BUGS/ERRORS about it.

The Seeker, Warbird, and Shark are in the db. I messed up the Condor dds file so that'll have to wait until tomorrow.
