More Civ 6 leaks?

Pedicle and Gorgo are both culture-focused, just in different ways. Phillip and Isabella could both be religion-focused in different ways.

Free missionary belonging to the Capital's religion when settling on a different continent? Might be OP...

I also think the exploration focus and bonus to natural wonders will come back with Isabella, only in diferent ways, I don't think they would do the gold on discover again, however, increased yields and adyacency bonus to natural wonders would be very interesting. That said, I think it's very possible she'll get something related to religion as well, I would like to see getting gold every time you convert a pop, tying that to Conquistadors would be very fitting.

I wouldn't be surprised if Isabella ended up with the exact same ability she had in Civ 5, double yields from natural wonders.

Spain's two main themes in Civ 6 are colonialism and religion, and that ability fits both of them. Natural wonders are all on different continents, so that helps the Treasure Fleets ability and the Mission improvement. They also give an agency bonus to Holy Sites, so that helps you power a strong religion.

Isabella's agenda would be that she wants to have every natural wonder on the map in her territory. She likes empires that have no natural wonders in their territory and dislikes empires who do.
But natural wonders this time work much more complicated and cannot have a catch-all "double effects" any more.

Possible, but copy-pasting the UA from CiV probably isn't the best recipe for DLC sales...

They can always take inspiration. First of all, given how RNG Spanish UA was in Civ 5, it's likely that we won't see it again.

Instead, Izzy might get a bonus to Natural Wonders, like double yields, more tourism etc. Doesn't have to necessairly be Religious.

Isabella will probably get Reconquista ability - something to do with casus belli wars. Like increased combat strength against a target of casus belli.

Why not? The majority of them seem to enhance the yields of the tiles around them, so the same double yields ability seems like it would work just fine.

mmh the more I think about it, yeah, Phillip already got a mayor boost to religion and warfare with the his LUA, Isabella has to take advantage of the exploration side of Spain, so, this is what I came up with:

Isabella

Reconquista (Agenda)
  • Dislikes civs with a diferent religion on the same continent as her, likes to cooperate with civs with the same religion on the same continent.
Viceroyalty (Leader Ability)
  • You can build Palaces on a diferent continents (1 per continent).
  • Natural wonders have increased adyacency bonus.
Treasure Fleet (Civilization Bonus)
  • Trade routes between different continents provide bonus gold for routes to other civilizations and bonus food and production for routes between your own cities
  • May build fleets and armadas earlier than other civilizations
Conquistador (Unique Unit)
  • Replaces the Musketman
  • Bonus Combat Strength when stacked with an Apostle, Inquisitor or Missionary
  • If a conquistador is adjacent to a city when it's captured, the city automatically converts to Spain's majority religion
Mission (Unique Infrastructure)
  • An improvement that provides faith with bonus faith when built on a foreign continent and bonus science if built adjacent to a Campus district

So the idea here would be for Isabel to focus more on exploration and setting up really strong profitable colonies to make the treasure fleets even better, also a bonus for setting shop close to natural wonders. The beauty of the extra palaces is that, should you expand to diferent continents (even on one big landmass) it would make Isabel a nuissance to take out for anyone going for domination victory, which I think mirrors pretty well the Reconquista. Also should you share the same religion and continent (which you might as she likes to colonize) she'd be a pretty good ally, Gilgamesh style.

That one palace on each continent is a good ability imo, thematic with the civs, leader and utilize the new game mechanic all at the same time, plus its a new ability that is not from previous game, i like it
