More Civ

You do not need to include the whole thing. If you could just include a Greco Roman, a European, a Middle Eastern, a Asian, a Native American and an African, I think people will usually think that is enough.

Yeah, but I don't feel like doing even that... I'm happy with what the game has already.

I merged it with file splitter and when I extracted it I got a lot of broken files. I used 7zip to extract. Maybe upload it to rapid share or torrents?

That's weird. I really wish others who downloaded this would write here if the mod works or not. I mean, it works on my computer, so I know everything is OK with it, but so far I got only one person saying it doesn't work and this is you. I'll see what I can do and maybe upload this mod somewhere else. Meanwhile you could try downloading it again, maybe something was wrong with your download.

No, it does not. I installed everything manually into the mod. It has VD, but but only the units.

Ah, sucks.
Oh well, I'll just try to merge it into my copy then. The base cities just look boring after growing used to what GeoModder did.

You know this program could be used to heavily reduce size of your art folder. If you use it you will probably get the chance to put it all in one folder.

I will try it on the weekend perhaps.

Well, basically, this is what my mod is all about- I added more stuff, and you can add even more stuff into it if you want. By the way, did you download the mod? Does it work?

Sadly, it won't. I keep getting file corruption issues when I merge.

How do you merge the two chunks with file splitter? What are you supposed to select as a destination file? I tried putting the first chunk as the source and second chunk as destination but that apparently just overwrote the second chunk, which I then had to re-download. I tried unzipping the chunks with 7zip but it said it couldn't open the file as archive (?). I'd like to play this mod but I'm getting frustrated at bumbling my way through the installation process. Would it be possible to combine the chunks into a single file, or make them available on a different host?

You click join and pick 1 of the parts of the file and name a destination 1.

I think the destination file should be left empty- just don't touch it and don't change anything. The source chunk is the first one, and it will find the second one automatically.

OK, I need some instructions on how to use this thing. I know how to unpack with PakBuild, but how do you pack???

IMPORTANT- THE MAIN LINK WORKS!!!
You can try and download it now.

I have downloaded this file ,unzipped and put in BTS mod folder all files.I have BTS 3.19 version. So when i try to run this program : menu - advanced - load a mod - moreciv , simply nothing happen^^ I don't have any error message just program stop to run ... Anybody know what's the problem ?

hi veBear , i am not sure if i understand well your explanation ,when you say start program and then press file ,i suppose you are talking about BTS program? Can you tell me where i go in BTS menu to press "file" like you said, did you mean maybe menu [load game] ?

From my side i realized that i didn't follow IgorS instruction about changing link file properties, now it's corrected link file path matches the path to the Civ4 but my problem unfortunately persist:(
No errors when i load the game mod but when i hit ctrl+alt+del i can see that BTS run in background and taking something about 55% of CPU resources ^^ and when i go to event log i find interesting error : SQL Error: near "s": syntax error; when executing SQL: INSERT INTO ActiveApps (Started, Exe, ProcID, Resumed) VALUES ('2010-05-26 17:48:09', '\device\harddiskvolume1\program files\firaxis games\sid meier's civilization 4\beyond the sword\civ4beyondsword.exe','2620',0) , whatever it means ^^
it would be good that somebody who actually installed and run correctly the game ,tell me what he did it exactly ...thanks

Nice work, IgorS.
Care to share some info about exactly what LHs did you improve upon?
Also, some of your LHs are really big both in size(mb) and vertice count. This usually leads to problems with mods such as this that includes a lot of art. (video memory MAFs)

Also, PakBuild won't reduce the size, but it will reduce the loading time of the mod.

How long did you wait? It takes this mod at least 5 minutes to load.
And if you changed what I said in the link file, why are you still trying to run this mod from inside the game? Just click on the link, you don't have to load the game and then go to "Mods" and all that. Again, I remind you- it takes a while to load, so you just need to wait.
