Actually I thought of something different, but Megaupload is a nice idea too... Is it free though? I just don't want to pay for uploading just this one mod.

Megaupload is free, and allows for a max of 1 gig to be uploaded.

I finally got the first one to download, from dropbox. Didn't have any extraction errors, however... no matter which of the two mod directories I install it, if I try to load it? Nothing happens.
No error messages, the mod just never loads. Even after 40 minutes of waiting.

I don't understand what's wrong then. What do you say, maybe we should ask someone like The Capo or Nitram15? They have experience with mods.

Hopefully they can help. I'm looking at this, and I'm not really sure what the issue is either.

Hey Igor, ths looks like a really great mod and I have now installed it, but when I try to play it, something really annoying happens. I click on the shortcut and it takes about half an hour to load(!), but then when the loading splash finally appears, I get a message saying the game must close, but no reason. Is there something I've done wrong?
PS I have tried through the game, it oes the same thing...
EDIT: I have solved the problem. Just moved it to another folder but had to remove some of the xml. Somewhere must have some faulty xml.

Now it takes like 20 mins and after that I got and error report.
You should really FPK the art, as you have over 2Gb, and it would greatly improve the loading times,
and then you could start debugging...

I need some help with fpk- how do I do that.
And I don't understand what you mean about debugging. I know the mod works since I've tested it lots of times before uploading it. I even downloaded it and installed it separately, and it worked.

Yeah, I supplied the mod with a link just because of that.
IgorS, I downloaded your mod(the file split in two), and I immediately found that the files had corrupted. This has NEVER happened to me before, I assume it has to do with whoever you uploaded it to, may I recommend Megaupload? I don't think it was anything on my end. I hope to play your mod soon though, custom leaderheads and civs I can add, but I have 0 experience modding anything else, and I eagerly hope to see your mod in action! I do plan to replace your custom civs/LHs with my own, though almost all of them overlap.

Check page 4, he moved it to Megaupload.
And it's not about where he uploaded it, he split the rar incorrectly. 7zip has its own way of splitting itself without having to use the old chunk rar format.
However, I'd recommend against downloading it right now. Even combined the mod still doesn't work. Best to wait until it gets fixed before downloading a several hundred mb rar.

i downloaded it and put it in the right folder, ingame i went to advanced -> load a mod -> then clicked moreciv, it closed out of the game and didn't do anything. then i tried using the shortcut, didn't do anything. how do i get it to work?

The mod's non-functional at the moment. By at the moment you'll notice the last reply was over a month ago, and it was broken back then.

Excellent Mod. I've played a few games on it. For my computer, I made a shortcut for it, and if a double-click it three or four times in a row, then wait five minutes, it loads fine.
