Pouakai, why don't you have all that the label (The Chola and her..) in a single text box so it's properly centered?

My only other problems with the map are the placement of the labels and key (it looks awkward, and the key is too close to the edge IMHO), and the lack of the feel of parchment (it just feels like modern day printing paper ATM).

This is fantastic work you have all been doing, can't wait for the release of the Nazca personally but I know it is well worth the wait.

Do you have any plans on doing Vietnam? If so I've been messing around with Leugi's leader screen tutorial and have come up with a simple screen so far (Le Thanh Tong within the Temple of Literature grounds). It's still very much a WIP.

I don't know if it's intentional, but the Civilopedia icon for the Duomo unique buildings uses the art for the Acoustics technology instead of it's correct art.

No, that's not intentional. Are you using any other mods? I can't reproduce the error.

Okay, well, I can't reproduce the problem myself with the mods that I was using, so maybe I was dreaming.

EDIT: It was another mod, it would seem, that adds the Duomo as a wonder, using the Acoustics technology art. Sorry for the confusion.

Nazca - Cahuachi

Widely known for the enormous geoglyphs of animals and other designs which they created in the deserts of their empire, the Nazca culture existed for approximately 900 years in the high Andean deserts of what is now Southern Peru. From what little is known of the Nazca people, it is clear that the Nazca had vast networks of underground aqueducts, connected by Puquois to the towns in which they lived, allowing a source of fresh water even in the harsh desert. The Nazca culture disappeared sometime around 800 CE, leaving behind the massive geoglyphs which are known as the Nazca Lines, the Puquois and the massive city of Cahuachi. Nazca can be downloaded from Steam Workshop Here or from CivFanatics Here

Ceremonial Sites - Each City and Geoglyph in the empire generates points towards a Golden Age. Upon the founding of the first four cities, recieve Culture equal to half the cost of the next Social Policy.
Cahuachi
Unique Improvement: Geoglyph, requires Agriculture. Provides +1 of a specific yield for each Pre-medieval Social Policy tree adopted. This is increased to +3 upon the tree being completed. Must be built on a flat desert tile
Unique Building: Puquios, replaces Watermill. Causes the city to become a source of fresh water, and as such does not need to be built next to an existing source.

The first new Civ of 2014! Great work. I've been looking forward to this one for a while (and coincidentally I was looking at the Nazca lines on Google Earth about an hour before I noticed you posted this). The only downside is that I won't be able to play with it for a day or two.

EDIT: Just noticed that while it's 2014 in New Zealand when I saw this, it wasn't when you posted. Maybe this will be the last new Civ of 2013, but any modder in Hawaii still has 22 hours to get one in under the wire.

The Puquios seems a little similar to what you guys did with the Garamantes, no?

Also, I'm concerned about the balance of the UI. It's not unfeasible, by mid game, to have every UI provide +1 Golden Age point, +1 (say Gold), +1 (Food), +3 (Production), +3 (Faith). (i.e. opening 4 policies and completing 2). This would only get worse by late game.

That's way overpowered. The Morocco UI only provides +3 yield on desert tiles, meanwhile yours is easily providing +8 and +1 GA point by mid game. (+12-14 and +1 GA point by late).

My suggestion, get rid of the +3 part. The +1 for every type of tree opened is strong enough for a UI, and already providing the same or more yield as the other UIs by mid game. Alternatively, only have the UI provide one type of culture based on the first tree you opened and/or completed.

The map is fantastic, btw.

I think +1 Golden Age point is a part of UA and shouldn't be included into part of UI balance.
Going anything different than Tradition + Liberty maxed first (not ignoring Ratio priority) on this civ is casual gaming.
Unfortunately, Morocco is so weak, that the difference in civs is too visible. Balance brings boredom and tears... Probably, +1 culture per Opener and Finisher would be fine. I think that getting rid of food and production might be a key.
I am more concerned that 100 turns passed (standard, emperor) and AI didn't make a single UI despite the fact of perfect desert start. I will be monitoring it.

From our experience the AI takes a while to build them, and doesn't start until they've got a couple of yields on it. I'd be worried if you don't have any being put up in the next 100 turns


Also, in case you didn't see Irkalla's post in his Project Civ topic, he is leaving modding permanently for personal reasons. We are taking over his projects of a Greece split and Sumer, which will hopefully be released sometime this year

Two of the most powerful yields, food and production, are available from the start allowing you to essentially rush late game farm + mine type yields on desert tiles. I don't know if this would be an unpopular opinion with the More Civ's group, but, with the original project being disbanded, might I suggest potentially gifting over the assets or trying to merge the More Civ Sumer mod with Tomatekh's Sumer mod?

I only really suggest this because: a) Taking on all the Greece civ pack, in addition to the current Indian pack, and the Polynesia pack, and the miscellaneous other civs you have planned, your schedule is already quite busy. b) I think most people would end up only using one Sumer mod in their game, and its releasing a civ that already has an established 20,000 or so subscriber base on Steam with Tomatekh's mod.

That's a good point. We might end up releasing Sumer as it is now for whomever is interested (It's pretty much finished now, anyway) or give some of the assets to Tomatekh.

Greece will probably be a mix of Irkalla's original design and some changes, but we'll most likely stay true to his original design.

I just noticed that a couple of the things he included (i.e. Artist Specialist Slot in Odeon) are now obsolete, so you're going to have to change it regardless.

I've been working on Burma (a Cultural/Tourism Conqueror) and would like your help! I've been having problems choosing between:

Paya, replaces Amphitheatre. Does not require Monuments and costs no maintenance. 1 GWoW slot which provides +2 gold when filled. +1 Great Writer points in the Capital or the City which contains the Writer's Guild.

Yama Zatdaw: Receive Great Writers for conquering cities. The amount of cities required to obtain a Great Writer increases as more Great Writers are earnt. (the exact amount of cities you'd need for each GWr would be something like: 3,3,3,4,4,4,4,5,5,5,5,5, etc.)

I'm also considering

I've just underlined my preferences. I doubt that the civ would be massively overpowered with that, but I need to know what the other unique is. If you don't have one, I'd suggest to make it help take cities, so that it effectively turns into the Assyria of Culture.
