More Civilisations

I'd agree with the plain Hindu soldier (Although the other one could be good for another civ in the future), and I'm pretty sure the first one for the Chakram is the same one we're using for the model reference, so that's probably the best one to use

Well, here's the Tuscan UB we currently have in mind, I suppose it's subject to change but there's a secondary possible use for it anyway:

I made a 3D model with this one; it's been a while since I last made an icon with a 3D model....

Is it a basilical church with latin plant?

The "Palazzo", tipical early renaissance palace, could also be an interesting choice for a renaissance florentian civ :)

Yeah, it's a simmilar concept, just two different terms. Well, can you tell us how does it work please? This tuscany seems really great

Xena, definitely

The icon looks great, however what troubles me is how the Chakram warrior will actually fight? From the concept I found I was going to mod a javeleener, but I don't know a thing about the rings.

Chakrams primarily are sharp throwing weapons, but can be also successfully used in melee (even if they were put on a turban you could headbutt someone and cut his eyes)

Meanwhile, a musketman:

Yes, that's better! (although I'd increase the visibility of the fort a bit more)

I'm also pleased to announce that almost all the 2D art assets for Tuscany are complete. I believe we're really just missing a symbol for the Condottiere; which I can't seem to come up with any ideas for....

Minor question, is the civ with the chackram warrior going to be uploaded soon, or will it be uploaded when BNW comes out?

Hmn, yeah a symbol for the Condottiere is a hard thing indeed. What about this?

The Condottiere seem to be quite a lot depicted in that equestrian pose... And it doesn't seem so odd at actual scale (2nd image)

Right guys, so I'd just like to get a quick opinion poll - my assessments are finally coming to a close (Just handed in a 7000-word paper on the influence of Greek Astronomy on later cultures) so I should be able to get back into this in about a week. Question is, where should I start? I've already got a civ lined up to be an early post-BNW civ, but beyond that I have no idea. So here are the options:
- Ayyubids
- India Rework (Maratha, Mughals and New India)
- Minoans

I'm pretty sure there have been some others that have come up in the course of the topic, so let me know if I've missed anything. Tuscany is going to have to wait for a bit post BNW so we can get a good look at the new system and determine how we could tie GW bonuses in, so that's off the initial list.
