More Civilisations

I was asking myself that as well.

The Minoans are still in the making; though reworked. There's also the fact that we still have some of Irkalla's assets for Greece Split, so it might be part of it.

For now we're focusing on India though, we want the India rework to be done as soon as possible ;)

So it's his dad, then?

Yep, the leader we're having for the Chola is Raja Raja I!

How many India Civ's are there going to be anyway?
Just wondering, I can understand if you don't want to talk about it.

OK, makes sense. So I guess the India split consists of: Maratha, Mughals, Maurya, Modern India & Chola?

Spot on.

Minoans don't really belong to Greece Rework timeframe, but I think it would be better to include it in it.

Sumer, I assume, could be released soon without any trouble... all the art has been done a long time ago and I doubt there is much code left to do. Thank Irkalla for his hard work. :)

Is there a northern India representative?

The only civs in this pack are Maurya, the Mughals, Maratha and Chola. The Mughals could probably be counted as Northern India, as could the modern India civ (a rework of the current India civ), especially since they have Nepalese Gurkha as their UU.

If you want a proper north India civ, I would suggest either Tomatekh's Harrappa or Gurra09's Sikh civ that's currently in development

Somebody's making a Sikh civ? Cool!

I found these civs of yours today and I love them already, even though I haven't had the time to play yet. :D Tuscany and Tibet seem great for my play style (I like it cultural).

Oh, and yes I'm working on a Punjabi/Sikh civ, Skaz881, read more in my thread over here: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=519725

I'm quite new to Civ5 modding and while I can do XML pretty good my art skills equals zero, so it's not as beautifully done as these guys' civs are.

Just curious, when you refer to it as the "India Pack" do you mean you will be releasing all of these civs together or also as a bundled multi civ mod? Or will you be releasing them as normal and its just a turn of phrase?

Jag är mycket glad att du tycker om dem! I did sorta craft Tuscany around my own playstyle; play tall and hoard wonders!

As far as I know, it's a bundled mod set, relying on the India rework. Though I could be mistaken...

Cool, can you also make a "More Civilizations" collection on the Steam Workshop and group all of your existing civs? You have quite a bit at this point and it will help to find them all.

Playing your Tibetan civ I found that the Himalayan cavalry doesn't require Horse resource to be trained, is this intended? Quite odd imo training horsemen without horses. :D

Any plans on an update to Kilwa? Their art doesn't match stylistically, in my opinion. I also feel as if they're somewhat underpowered. I had an idea for a Civ that, instead of gaining trade routes through tech, they get it through the foundation (by settlers, not conquest) of cities. This allows them to accumulate trade routes faster, but limited to a reasonable pace. I'd also be interested in at the Dhow as a unique Cargo Ship, if possible.

Possibly eventually, but we have a lot on our plate at the moment and the art for the Kilwa is good enough that we can leave it for a while. They've at least got Leugi's leaderhead. I do like your ideas though, so once we get some more time I'll definitely look into it.

In the mean time, here's another update for the India pack:

I'm having a relatively minor issue with Tuscany, but I thought I'd post it here in case anyone else has run into it. When I've played against Tuscany, the AI doesn't seem to know what to do with Great Prophets. Sukritact said that it was possible that another mod I was using could be causing the glitch so my question is if playing with a lot of mods can cause glitching? I'm playing with 16 and they haven't caused any problems otherwise...........

I'd like to argue against changing around Kilwa if I may. They're my favourite modded Civ to play by far and I don't know how anyone can consider them underpowered.

Sure, the Coral Port is pretty unspectacular but they more than make up for it with their fantastic UA.

Being able to buy yourself an extra Worker/Caravan/Cargo Ship on turns 15-20 is something only Kilwa can easily do barring stumbling across El Dorado or getting lucky as Spain.
